Amazing anniversary weekend away at Tierhoek Cottages. The Stone cottage was perfect for a weekend away for myself and the misses. Spent the whole weekend in our birthday suits by the pool with only the views and good wine as our company. 100% privacy and very very comfotable. HIGHLY recommended. Cheers

The unexpected lushness of the valley and unique setting of the tierhoek house was a highlight of the weekend. We felt very safe in the tranquil environment and the awesome swimmingpool is child proof. An added bonus is how quick and easy it is to reach from Cape Town.

Loved the views from the cottage (Pepper tree) . This is a very rustic cottage that gives you that real farm feel. In the early evening 3 steenbok came to graze near us. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to go.

The Pepper Tree Cottage is superbly located surrounded by mountains and spectacular birdlife. The view of the mountains from the bath is superb. Some may call the cottage 'romantic' and 'rustic' but others would call it grubby and lacking care.

We have just spent five days in the most peaceful place called Tierhoek Cottages in the Nuy valley area near Robertson. No cellphone reception, no wirelss, no tv, just us and hundreds of birds, 3 donkeys, mongoose, mice, 3 very large tortoises, pigs and even some sheep. There were baboons on the first two days but thankfully not thereafter. We...

Tierhoek is a gem - tucked away with only nature surrounding you, its a true getaway. Birds, walks, swimming, books and 'stoeping' is the order of the day. We loved our time and will definitely recommend it!

My partner and I stayed in Pepper Tree Cottage for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. Breathing in the crisp, cool air to the sound of birdsong and the sight of red-kissed mountains - beautiful! We loved that there was no mobile phone reception, as this gave us the opportunity to really switch off and unwind. We saw so many...

We arrived to a vase filled with beautiful Roses and Lavender picked from the garden and roadside. We were greeted by two tortoises!! The cottage was clean, light and bright. The view from the veranda is breathtaking. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful weekend at Tierhoek staying in Fig Tree House with all my Family. There were 6 adults and 3 small children. The home is beautifully appointed with all the home comforts. It was quiet, comfortable and had an awesome view of the valley and beautiful surroundings. The only small criticism I have is that the braai area...
