On my arrival at 12:45 @ De Kloof Luxury Estate, I requested a light lunch and was told that the chef will only be available after 13:00. While waiting for the chef I ordered a bottle of wine, which was served to my SHOCK in an ice bucket with 2 solid blue jumbo Ice Bricks inside instead of ice cubes....

I loved the architecture of the buildings. It is a real pity that they have chosen to go ultra modern in the decor of the bedrooms. We stayed in this wonderful luxury place and enjoyed every single minute of it.. Estee welcomed us at arrival and showed us around in a very relaxing and elegant way.. The perfect host. On arrival we were offered an upgrade which was a nice touch, however declined as we didn't fancy the waterbed. The room we had which was near to the entrance was perfectly acceptable if not quite as grand. Great 2 night stay which started with an optional upgrade to the Pinot Noir/Manor House suite of this boutique hotel which has a very cool and comfortable water bed.
