We stayed here on our last night in Bali and it was pretty good. The staff were friendly and the room did its job. However without transport you're a bit stuffed to be honest. It's a decent walk into civilisation and after dark the rip-off taxis take over. Great if you're passing through, or have a scooter for the whole...

This place is great for the traveler who wants to avoid the partiers, families, and honeymooners... I think those types are going more for the resorts and beachside locations. The staff is friendly, but not intrusive! They will help you book tours, set up spa services, and they even use a couple of popular restaurants up the road from the...

We spent three nights in this beautiful spot just a few corners away from central Seminyak. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the helpful receptionist and her assistant with a welcome drink and a refreshment towel before leading us to the room. Just next to the entrance in a quiet side road we were absolutely fascinated by the beauty...

Uka Karan is definitely a place you would want to stay at. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean. The only thing that could be better is breakfast. It is tasty but very simple. All in all, definitely a hotel I would recommend to family or friend.

Loved how quiet the place is with only maybe 8 rooms, most of which were empty during our stay. The pool was almost always empty, perfect for a morning swim. The staff were great, very nice and friendly. Nice tasty American breakfast too. However the location did prove to be a bit of a problem. We had to call an...

Cute and quiet little place to say, excellent service by the staff. I've been here twice, first time was a couple of years ago and then again in 2015. It's a little bit more tired looking now and it seems like they're cutting down on the little details (decorations and bathroom amenities etc.), probably going through tougher economic times but...

Uma karan is almost like a secret garden. We love the friendliness and warmth of all staff and above all,the tranquil peace and cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. While the location is not ideal if you intend to roam Seminyak, this was not a problem for us for the most part as taxis are...

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our Bali trip. Could not find a fault with this hotel. The pool is stunning and right outside your door so it almost feel a like a private pool (I don't think there were many people staying when we visited so we usually had it all to ourselves). The rooms...

Petite and Chic It was memorable. We stayed there on our honeymooon. It was a pretty boutique hotel with identical 20 something room. Every room is facing the swimming pool. The room was decent and neat. Too bad no choice for food, only simple breakfast was served. Value for money. Note: Actual visit: 8 - 11 Feb 2013
