We were booked for a 3 day seminar in this hotel and me and my buddy stayed at room 111 of the Delta building. Compared to the older building, the Delta building is newer. It is no 5-star hotel by any measure but it wasn't bad nonetheless. Our room had two big beds and a smaller extra bed as we...

Of all the hotel buildings of this chain in Subic, the only one worth staying in is the Delta Building. The rest, don't even bother. Delta is not the cheapest in Subic, but is a decent place to stay. I would make this a last priority because of the price. The rooms are really starting to deteriorate. The coffee shop,...

I love most in this hotel is their food ;-) I've enjoyed my stay in this hotel, maybe it is already an old hotel but the rooms are still relaxing... walking distance from the hotel is a casino... well as for the hotel hope you will renovate the hotel in the near future. I will still love to stay there......

The location is great. The food was even good with 24 hour service. Hotel room is spacious and the Manager in the cafe is very attentive to our needs. They advertise a sauna and swimming pool but they don't really have it. The "sauna" they mean is a bad steamer with a lot of girl attendees who's asking for a...

The Subic International Hotel was an enjoyable stay. The hotel facilities are a bit dated and in need of redecoration. The room was massive with two king size beds however it was in dire need of redecoration. The restaurant was basic however the quality of the food was fine and reasonable. Drivers rooms are also available for a small fee....

“Yeah, now Olongapo/Subic Bay is another story: I’m very frustrated with the taxi drivers in general: Unlike Manila and a host of other cities, they are the worst the Filipino culture has to offer and corrupt to the core (so.. I briefly befriended a driver to learn what I could). According to their tradition, the taxi drivers have managed to rule out the use of meters altogether: relying only on their good sense of what’s in your wallet. I’m serious! It’s like the 18th century, except for the prices! They charge a minimum of p250 to travel from bus stations into town for local hotels (I battled for p150 and won – but it’s only worth p75), roughly it’s a 5 to 8 min journey; beyond that distance, just beg for mercy if you don’t like conflict. I discovered later that for extended trips the fair market value is p350-400 per hour for shopping trips, etc. Tip for the day: start negotiating the fare outside the taxi and walk away at least twice before entertaining their final offer. Always sit in the back seat and don’t smile. Remember; don’t get angry, just think about the juicy review you will write the next time you are online; ha ha, I did.”
