I would recommend this place in a heartbeat, excellent Wi-Fi throughout, very good free breakfast and friendly staff.
It's located in the centre of Korat and not too far from the train station.
I would definitely stay here again.

I found this place by just searching through list of hotels on Agoda for a weekend trip. What caught my eye from the photos were photos of the common area.

I paid around 630THB per night for a twin room on Agoda.

Location:
we did not spend much time in the city, but when we left and were driving around the area, it is pretty much in the city center, very close to Ya Mo monument. It was also on a small street, which made it less noisy. If you got a car, you can park in the temple opposite of the hostel free or charge.

Room:
I first booked a room for 2 persons, then 2 more friends joined, so I asked to get a bigger room with extra beds and in the end, we paid a total of 1,230THB for 4 persons. Actually, if you had your own sleeping set, you would have paid just 100THB for an extra person instead of 300THB.

The bed was comfy with nice and clean sheets.

The only down side about the room we had was the bathroom. There was no certain for the shower area, so the water was just everywhere and it seemed that the drain might have been block as the water was not going down fast enough.

Common area:
There is a small living area on every floor, where you can sit comfortably to read a book or relax. There is a small living area on a balcony on 2nd floor and a rooftop with 24hr access and complimentary snacks.

Breakfast:
The room price includes breakfast. You can choose between Thai clear soup with rice, fried eggs in a pan, Thai omelette with rice, rice porridge for the main dish and bread with sweet topping or savory topping as a side. I had fried eggs in a pan and sweet bread and they both were good.

Coffee, tea and water was also available.

All in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again if I go back to Korat. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Very well run hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

I stayed in the "Marvel Comic" room. Decorated with paintings of different Marvel characters. The room isn't very big, but it's enough for one person.

The only thing I miss in the room is a little mini fridge. And the TV in my room should be moved to the wall opposite the bed.

Otherwise no complaints, nice clean rooms. Lovely decoration, nice bathroom.

Now, the location:

5-10 minute walk to 7-Eleven.
Laundry and Nightmarket literally right across the street! Take 10 steps out the hotel and you're there.
10-15 min to the YaMo Statue. In the same neighborhood you have medium sized shopping mall called Klang Plaza.

Transportation:

The staff will gladly call a taxi for you, it is pretty much 100 baht everywhere inside the city core like "The Mall" and Terminal 21. 250 baht to Korat Zoo.
You also have tuk-tuks down the street to the left, they charged us the same as an air con taxi.

The staff do have a contact that rents motorbikes. If you're lucky to get one, do! You will be much freer to roam around on your own. We were unlucky, in that they only had 1 bike available when we needed 2.

The motorbike rental thing doesn't seem to be as widespread as in more touristy cities.

A side note on taxis; if you're having trouble explaining to the non-english speaking Thai driver where the hotel is, failsafe suggestion would be to just take you to Yamo Statue. Everyone knows that, and you can walk from there as a last resort :)

From the moment you walk in lobby you know the owner is a person who is detail oriented. He made us feel at home immediately and sorted out a small reservation issue immediately. In a few minutes we were in our Vincent Van Gough room. The top floor is a chill out are and doubles to accommodate back packers, thats why this hotel is listed as a Hostel. In off season that isn't a bother and the location in the city couldn't be better. We slept great, and breakfast even though it is limited, was excellent and plenty enough. I highly recommend this hotel.

Outstanding service. Extremely friendly. Centrally located. Rooms are small but clean and well decorated. Great value and the breakfast was really good (try the Vietnamese bun and pan egg). Also walkable to the Night Bazar and Ya Mo statue and Klong Plaza.

The hotel is located just inside the moat so very convenient for exploring the city. The lobby is very "Chinese Grandma" (dark wood furniture with inlaid mother of pearl etc.) but the rooms are modern and playfully decorated. The contrast between modern branding and Chinese shophouse is jarring but fun. I stayed in the Van Gogh room on the 3rd floor. My colleagues and I loved the breezy rooftop 'chill out' area and the Isaan pan-fried omelette with Chinese sausage for breakfast was excellent.

Cool design & easy to reach. Close to public transportation & can just walk to tourist places. Close to ATM, govern hall, shopping malls, restaurants, markets, & temples.
Spare parking spot in the street & in the temple just right across the street.
The room design is beautiful. The rooftop area is pretty and good to take a chilling time.
Breakfast is included with th room. Simply & delicious.

This hotel has no frills, but clean and welcoming staff. Close to Tao Suranari monument. What i like is the free breakfast and good wifi here. There is a shelf on the second floor with a electric water jug, amenities, adapters, phone chargers and plugs. Please return after use i think it's great! The roof top terrrace is amazing, complete with fridge, glasses, openers it's nice to sit, relax and have a drink. Please bring your own as they dont serve alcoholic drinks. The breakfast menu included is quite nice, there's many options such as congee, fried eggs with toppings. You can order dim sum for extra. The bed is clean, the showers are clean with warm water and the air con is freezing cold! It really is a great hotel i definitely recommend it, expect for paking there is only one spot infront . The sign is kinda small so at night you may miss it. All in all I will come again!
