Stayed at the romyen garden place koat after reading the good reviews on the hotel only negative is the room does not have a safe which should be a standard requirement of any hotel.
Fine location in centre of the city close to and walking distance to the old city gate and moat, bus terminal 2 was about 5 mins tuk tuk ride away I paid 80 baht, same distance to temunal 21 korats prime shopping mall, terminal 2 provides a public bus to phimai historical park for 50 baht and drops off almost outside this impressive khmer temple. massages over the road from hotel, good size balcony with table and a chair. Tea/coffee in room, fast wifi throughout the hotel. staff were polite and reception staff were so freindly and helpfully if I wanted a taxi they would use there grab phone app and order it at a far cheaper price then rip off tuk tuks would charge. Nice swimming pool with sunbeds. Gym. Hotel had a massage shop.near pool. Can't comment on breakfast has I was room only but menu was great value and good food with inside or outside tables,
Great value and a super hotel if I came back to korat I wouldn't stay anywhere other then romyen garden place hotel.

We stayed at the Romyen for one night then two nights with family in April 2019. Our choice of rooms was 2 x superior king. We did have a favourite hotel already in Korat but lately it has become expensive so we decided to give other places a try.

The Romyen is in an excellent central location for the city just 400m down a side road from a stretch of the ancient moat. It is within 200m of a 7-11 store and a small night food market. Also, leave the hotel, turn left and next left down Buarong road and just on the right is a fantastic noodle place!

I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms at the Romyen considering the price. They are actually small, clean and modern studios with a kitchenette. The bed, tv and shower (the essentials!) are all good and I really felt at home. There were even nice little touches like an arm chair and bathrobes!

Facilities at the Romyen include a gym (that I didn't have time to explore) and a great little pool at the front of the place. Behind the pool is seating, a bar and the restaurant/breakfast room. There's actually a great poolside atmosphere here and we ended up spending quite a lot of time sat here. swimming, socialising, eating and drinking. There is also a massage shop next to the restaurant which we used and really enjoyed. We didn't try breakfast at the Romyen but had poolside food and all ate inside the restaurant one day when it started raining. Everything we ate was delicious!

The Romyen is a centrally located clean and modern resort with exellent facilities, friendly helpful staff and is great value. We will be back in December 2019 for 2 nights. Recommended!

Stayed here for a couple of nights while passing through Korat. The hotel was well appointed with generous sized rooms. There is a pool at the front of the hotel and a small restaurant. There is also massage available onsite as well, and the prices were very reasonable. The room rate we paid was only $55AUD per night, which made this hotel very good value for money. Check in and out was painless and the staff very helpful. There was also free parking onsite. There are plenty of places to eat all within a short walking distance, and it is central to the old city. This is a great find, and I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Korat.

A very reasonably priced quality hotel in the heart of the city. Rooms were clean and the decor modern. the Bed, mattress, pillows and bedding provided an ultimate sleep. Even included a couple of light salad breakfast's, with real coffee. Ample secure parking and a sparking clear swimming pool are bonuses. Hungry....even a Japanese restaurant next door. We opted for a morning walk to the Thao Suranaree (Ya Mo) Monument, only a short few blocks away. I would recommend anytime.

I was stopping over on my road trip for one night only. So I was just looking for a safe and decent place to sleep, at a good price. At Romyen Garden I got this and more. The service and helpfulness of the staff exceeded my expectations for a 3 star property. The rooms are spacious, clean and efficient with just enough little design touches, to give them some warmth and personality. There's even a balcony of usable proportions. The beds are comfortable. Cable TV and Internet work better than in most 4 star places I have been to lately.

The location is perfect for business or exploring the town. All around a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended for traveling on a budget, with a bit of style and comfort.

Planned on staying 3 nights but put off by rude, incompetent reception staff. Absolutely 'no' accountability whatsoever. Checked out after 1st night and happy to pay for 'services', however minimal, used. Instead, they have charged me for three nights. NEVER given a receipt. Small wonder the place was empty. They are rip off merchants.

If you travel using GPS, you will having tough time finding it cause my Garmin show different name and it located at back of shoplot so you need to some time to located it. Once reach the hotel it is great. Room is spacious with balcony albeit no view it still good. It also equip with mini kitchen. i particular like the wardrobe which somehow connected with your bedroom.
The bathroom is great with huge rain shower and good water pressure.
my room is 406 and it cost for only 1220 Thai Baht. There a lot of Japanese restaurant, massage within 5 min walking distance and further down there is night market with plenty of food available.

However breakfast is below okay as you only got 3 choice which is set menu and the kitchen tiles is bit sticky. Other than that is all good.

This is probably the best place I have stayed in Korat, for this price range. For 33$ a night, you get a very modern styled room complete with a microwave and a mini kitchenette. The room is very clean and new.
The bathroom is also very roomy and has a rain styled shower but you can switch to the regular shower handle, if that's what you prefer.
There is a balcony that also has a sink to wash dishes. You can smoke on the balcony but there is no smoking inside the rooms.
The best part is that this place is in the center of the city walking distance from the Yai Mo monument and is only two blocks away from the newly renovated Klang Plaza.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again.

The Romyen has walk in showers and it does have an elevator. There were also ramps alongside the steps that lead up to reception!
