Very nice resort, close to the airport, 10 minutes from the city centre. Spacious well appointed rooms, large room heaters, free wifi in common areas, courteous staff and a decent restaurant serving Indian, Chinese and Bhutanese cuisine. Well mantained grounds. Booked as part of package through tour operator so not sure how expensive it was, but certainly the best hotel...

I spent 3 nights here as part of a tour through Bhutan. The hotel was selected by our tour operator. In terms of positives, the hotel had large rooms, wifi worked well in the lobby, and the room (109 and 113) had nice heaters which were great given the cold nights in Bhutan. The bed was a bit firm, but...

Rundown room, stained bed sheet, dirty toilet and firewood heater which choked up the room with soot. We arrived late in the evening and checked out immediately the next morning for another hotel. Lobby WIFI was not working when we arrived, and still not working when we left (despite the manager promising he will rectify it overnight). Worst hotel experience...

Basic rooms with faulty electricity points, poor plumbing and inadequate carpentry/plumbing standards indicate poor care and attention to what might be a good asset under better management. Friendly and competent staff who redeemed the reputation of this place but the on site hotel dogs barked all night destroying sleep resulting in a poor rating.

We had high hopes for ts hotel from its Internet site. On arrival the rooms looked Ok but I was surprised to find the only heating room was from a wood stove. That would be great if I could have kept it going all through the night! Sadly the wood burnt out after about an hour and the mornings were...

After 5 nights in other hotels in Eastern Bhutan we have been very positively surprised about this hotel. Rooms (suite) are modern and have electrical heating (which you need in April ) and staff is extremely attentive and helpful. To our surprise we have been the only guests and food was really excellent. To be recommended.

This is a nicely decorated hotel at the valley of beautiful Bumthang. Rooms are very comfortable with good Bukhary along with 2nos. electronic heater. Balcony are quite big and comfortable too make me remind about Europian style.Foods are also good. I would like to visit again in this hotel to spend leisure time in festival time.

Quite a nice hotel for the region with pleasant staff and warm rooms, the food is below average and not much to choose from. Our tour guide with all his local knowledge was bitten by one of the many dogs roaming the grounds and required an anti rabies shot. The management said they could not do anything about it, beware.

We stayed at this hotel one night after getting bumped from another hotel during festival week Although the hotel could use a little updating the room was large well lit and had nice amenities. There was also sufficient heaters in the room The staff were very nice and friendly and the food in the cosy restaurant was good. As travel...
