We stayed here as part of our motorcycle trip through Bhutan. The hotel is one of the few in a small town. The lady owner is warm and helpful. The rooms were clean, and toilets hygienic. Rooms also offer a view of the Dzong and come with a heater. The restaurant offers great tasty food - go for the chicken...

I loved this hotel. The room was big enough for two. The bathroom was spacious and a proper working geyser. the room heater was also working. It had a charm to it and our room window opened out to the streets with view to the Dzong. it is conveniently located, the dzong and museum are five minutes from here. the...

I stayed here for three days during the Trongsa tsechu from Dec 29 14 -Jan 1 15. The place is located right in the center of Trongsa. So if you are an Indian national making up your plans as you go along like me, this is the place to be in Trongsa. The two big tourist spots - Trongsa dzong...

Norling Hotel is a basic place with comfortable beds, but the reason i'm so impressed with them is because of the prompt and good service from staff (I'm a sucker for these things even if the place itself isn't that amazing) and a homely atmosphere. I really enjoyed interacting with the staff members who are presumably family. Plus, as a...

I saw many comment about this hotel and some of them I feel was a bit unfair. I stayed here for one night on my way to Gelephu. The room was decent though basic, strangely they had an LCD TV . The bathroom was also decent and I believe it had a working geyser too. The bed though not great...

The more eastward you travel in Bhutan the more basic accomodation gets. Right on the main road this hotel provides some good views of Trongsa Dzong. Very simple and a kind of dirty rooms, but surprisingly good food. But anyway: If your travel agency suggests this place- refuse it. Yangkhil Resort is a much better choice.

The hotel rooms were comfortable and its situated in the city. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The biggest problem is the water supply which is erratic and the mornings were without water. The food is just OK and the service is slow.
