We had heard there was a great B&B in Magdalena so decided to stay there while visiting the Very Great Array. Our visit was an unexpected delight. The room was comfortable and included an old record player with lots of records from our era (Beach Boys, etc). The highlight was our host and hostess, Lee and Lori. They were very... More

The B&B was like returning home to family. We had delicious gourmet breakfasts after coffee and biscotti were waiting outside of our room each morning. Rooms have no TV but you are free to watch in the main living room. The property is located on a ranch with cows, dogs, and cats-an animal-loving property. Definitely a place to return to... More

A really charming place to stay with excellent hosts, who make you feel part of the family. I heartily recommend anyone to stay here. The location is lovely and remote and the room really comfy and the breakfast out of this world. Lord and Lee are the best hosts ever

I had the pleasure as I was walking across America to stay at this gem. Lee and Lisa are the owners of this wonderful B&B. I've been to 100 countries and have stayed in every type of hotel, B&B you can think of. Rancho Magdalena and it's wonderful owners are not to be missed. Wonderful accommodations with southern hospitality are... More

FANTASTIC. Neither words or actions can express the joy and delightful time staying at the Rancho Magdalena. Staying here was the highlight of our trip. Lee and Lori made us feel so at home and comfortable. Lee was a fantastic tour guide and Lori cooks up a breakfast that is out of this world

We had just overnight stop here as were visiting the VLA on our way down to Las Cruces. We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable and it was such a peaceful location. Our hosts Lori and Lee were lovely and we had fun sitting out in the front porch in the evening chatting... Rancho Magdalena a special place that is immaculately clean, well maintained and furnished, very comfortable, and beautifully managed. The outdoor haven and quiet open space provide quiet rejuvenation and restoration from in town options. The location is a destination itself or the perfect home base for exploring the area's many historic sites and nature preserves. You'll awake to coffee or... More

We travelled through Magdalena to see Bosque del Apache and the VLA and chose to stay here as opposed to staying in a chain hotel in Socorro. The host and hostess, Lee and Lori, are easygoing and fun. Lee has many entertaining experiences to share. Lori's food is fabulous. Our room was quaint and quiet. We woke each morning to... More

I still can't believe I had such a great time in Magdalena, NM. I used to live in Albuquerque, and it was never like this! I just ate fresh salad greens in a cafe in Magdalena, for crying out loud! But I digress - Lori and Lee at Rancho Magdalena B&B achieved an 11 on the hospitality-o-meter. They had me... More

We stay here whenever we come to see the Bosque Del Apache and would not stay anywhere else. Lori and Lee, the owners, are very comfortable to be around and make us feel like family. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable with a homey feel. The property is rough, rugged and beautiful. The best part, for me anyway, are... More
