We stayed here for two night while checking out some astronomy sites nearby. It is a hotel caught in a time warp from the 60's. But the rooms are very clean and fresh and look recently remodeled. My only complaint is the soft mattresses which make it virtually impossible for two people to sleep in the same bed without constantly... More

Hadn't been to the Largo in almost 10 years. The main draw is their giant green chile burgers, but I wasn't hungry enough for that. Decided to go with the Navajo taco. It was huge! Good service and clean. They take credit cards, not all places along the state line do.

If you're looking for a great green chile cheeseburger then look no more. Carl and Kathy have perfected the dish. If you're there for breakfast don't worry! The huevos ranchero is AWESOME. It's the only restaurant in town but they pump out some great food.

Nice, clean, reasonably priced motel and cafe in Quemado, New Mexico. This is along US 60 East on the way to Pie Town, Datil, the VLA (Very Large Array), Magdalena, and Socorro. It is a beautiful section of New Mexico with wide open spaces and fabulous vistas

Should you on purpose or by accident find yourself on NM Hwy. 60 be extra sure to plan a dining stop at Cafe Largo in Quemado . Service is genuinely friendly & the food genuinely good. The menu is extensive. Personally I've been unable to move beyond the green chili cheese burger. Generous slices of red tomato & onion. Check... More

After a long drive I ran into this pleasant cafe. First needed restroom found it to be clean. Ordered a club sandwich with onion rings. Both were excellent. Menu is well rounded with American and Mexican meals anybody should be able to find something. Server very nice. A gem in the middle of nothing

Long day hiking injured and we got out to Quemado hoping to find a place to rest. The owners were so nice. Offered all manner of assistance for medical aid, but really just needed the bags of ice, which they quickly produced from the Cafe next door. Cafe was open until 9pm so had time to clean up before a... More

We were just driving by around lunch time and stopped in. Fortunately, I was in the mood for a burger. The menu has small burgers and large burgers. I asked our waitress how small was the small burger. She said, "It's not small." At least 1/3 pound, maybe larger. And it was yummy! And the fries were piping hot and... More

Met my daughter here to give her pup back after they went on a trip out of the country. We stayed at the Motel and ate at the Cafe. The food was very good, I had a burrito, very good! They have a great little salad bar with soups. The service was great, the waitress very friendly. A native american... More
