We stayed 4 nights in Founders Camp and it was absolutely perfect! We last stayed at Cottars 1920 in Kenya and my husband has been on 7 safaris and this was by far his favourite. The room was absolutely stunning, you couldn't have designed it better, larger than a super king bed, 2 full bathrooms, a study, glass doors opening...

Stayed for 4 nights at the Varty Camp, in a thatched bungalow bordering the river. Elephants would come down to the river to drink and play! During the course of eight safaris saw many lions, leopards, rhinos, more elephants... one of the most amazing sights was watching a pride of lions take down a buffalo! The main lodge was just...

Three and a half days of an up close encounter with the great animals of nature. Stayed at the Varty Camp and were treated daily to a parade of different animals outside our porch and plunge pool. Accommodations and service that definitely could spoil oneself.

it had not rained for a very long time when we arrived. So the first view of the surroundings looked a bit sad. But the extreme high standard of the lodge, excellent service and both, ranger as well as tracker very well informed about the games mad us forget the dryness. At the end we saw the big five plus...

We completed a lot of research before choosing our safari and decided on Londolozi Founders Camp for our honeymoon. Knowing its 90 year history and Relais & Chateaux affiliation, we expected the service to be top notch. But even with that, our expectations were greatly exceeded. Londolozi is more than a place to stay and see animals; it is a...

I didn't know what to expect. Beautiful accommodation and tasteful open common space. We could hear the lions roaring at night and the baboons outside. We stayed 4 nights and went on 2 safaris a day led by a professional ranger and local tracker in a six seater open vehicle. Mostly off road and went anywhere that animals could be...

We are two couples that stayed at Pioneer Camp 4 nights in October. In my opinion, pioneer is the most attractive of the 5 camps. Of course, that is like saying one of Monet's waterlilies paintings is best- all are terrific. It is understatement to characterize Pioneer Camp as luxurious. The three "rooms" there are expansive and beautifully decorated. Actually,...

Breakfast offered so many choices ,all freshly prepared and excitingly served. What a lovely experience to sit on the deck overlooking the river and seing the occasional elephant romping with her off spring .An out of Africa experience to wonderful to be able to describe adequately.

We travelled to the Varty Camp as a family of four and stayed for four nights. I cant say stress enough how good this camp was. We saw all the big five plus the baby big five. Our guide James and tracker Richard where sensational. It didn't stop there, all the staff including Margaret who was our waitress for the...
