Only the Bush has plunge pools—the other chalets are close to the swimming pool, which is quite nice. Please be aware that there’s been no water in the watering hole for years (droughts). But it still attracts plenty of animals. The bush lodges are more of a trek, but we had elephants drinking from the plunge pools twice in three nights. I’m not sure I’d swim in the plunge pool, I really just considered it a lure for wildlife. I discussed the two room choices in depth in my review this past June. Arathusa was amazing!
