Our friend and us, three families with 20 years sons stayed 4 days at Idube Lodge. The lodge is confortable and the staff very friendly, specially the Rangers Promise and Rob. As I said, stay at a private safari game allow you to have a very intense contact with the wild animals because you can follow them, seen them hunt...

We stayed here in January 2016 and now again in February 2017. The lodge is in the western sector of Sabi Sand and traverses the same area as the more expensive lodges but at a much better price tag. There are 2 Makubela suites. The difference between the suite and the chalet is the size and private plunge pool, but...

Matt - the camp manager - was 5*. He personally handled our game drives. His enthusiasm & knowledge were infectious. Thanks Matt as the game drives were the highlight Apart from this . The food, pool, room, other staff were OK but not in same league as the game drives.

My tour operator, Rhino Africa (I will write a separate review) recommended this lodge to me when I mentioned that I didn't want to move around and I just wanted to stay put for four nights. It turned out to be an excellent recommendation. My room was a one of the suites, Makubela (a beloved leapard's name), big and comfortable....

Stayed for three nights and had an overall great experience. Our guide Rob had 16 years of experience in this game reserve and did an excellent job orienting us to the game and reserve. In the first day alone, we saw 4 of the big 5. The food at the lodge was also very good. The lodge could improve its...

Yesterday I wrote a review for Idube, under a different name (Idube Game Reserve) so I'm repeating some of that here. We found Idube to be a very good value for money lodge in the rather expensive Sabi Sand area of Kruger, and if you want to see all the animals including the Big 5 close up then I'd recommend...

Idube was amazing. We went for the game drives and positive reviews on TA, and they did not disappoint. By our third game drive, we had seen all of the Big Five. And on that third drive, we actually saw all the Big Five in one drive! Mike was our guide and he had endless amount of knowledge about the...

When you arrive at Idube game lodge two hostesses welcome you and invite you to take a welcome drink and a short explanation of everything you need to know. You luggage is brought to your cabin in the meantime and the park your car in the back. There is a pool for relaxing between the game drives but those game...

We have been very fortunate to have travelled quite a bit so when I say this is the best holiday we have ever had - I mean it! Africa is amazing. Sabi Sands - amazing. Idube Game Reserve, yep, you guessed it - amazing. We had the best time ever! We had arrived from another game lodge in Bolule and...

While not cheap, Idube is one of the exclusive lodges in Sabi Sand private reserve (there are about 35 in all, I think). Sure, you can save money by visiting the public (mostly free) areas of Kruger National Park but staying on the roads means you're likely to see a lot less. Here, it's a luxury resort with safari drives...
