Sausage Tree Safari Camp is small and intimate, only housing 5 tents, meaning a total of 10 guests at a time. The tent accommodation is clean, air conditioned and comfortable. The bathroom has an inside bath and an outside shower. One night I had about 15 baboons wander past me whilst I was showering and my husband had a huge...

Loved the place, the luxury tents, living in the wild, the people, food, game drives, the planning of the day, etc. There isn't a thing you can't like about this place! This is one place to remember. Thank you!

We stayed at the Sausage Tree last October and it exceeded our already high expectations. The camp was referred to us by a friend and I will now always take recs from that individual! From picking us up at the airport to dropping us off at the end of our time there, we couldn't have asked for a more friendly,...

We loved staying at Sausage Tree Safari Camp! Mostly because of the excellent service of the staff. They put a lot of effort in giving us the best experience possible. Also the game drives were spectacular. We got to see a lot of animals we hadn't seen in other game reserves yet f.e. wild dogs and lions. We were lucky...

The lodge were quite small, room for 10 persons and it made it a very cosy and intimate place to stay with wonderful and social personel. We had morning and evening safaris and relaxing during the mid day (was good to relax during the hottest hours at the pool).

We, a family of five, stayed three nights at the camp and it was truly a five star experience in every way. A three nights stay means no less then six safari drives of three hours each. We got to see all the big five up close and personal, like a male lion with his pray and a male and...

We were three friends traveling together and booked a 4 night stay at Sausage Tree Safari Camp. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive, personable and generally great people. We were incredibly lucky with our safaris and loved seeing the animals in their natural habitat, but what we took from the trip was the great memories with the...

Our family of four plus one grandmother spent two wonderful nights here. Kevin and Themba were very good, knowledgeable guides. Terrific elephant sightings...right near our tents! Solid game viewing all round. Orlando's cooking was delicious and we look forward to making his malva pudding when we get home. Tented accommodations were exactly as expected—very comfortable, even in the 40C heat....
