Been for 2 nights and enjoyed the stay immensely. The camp is basic but very well set up and everyone there tried to make our stay as special as possible. It was absolutely no problem to heat water before a shower and the meals were very good. And of course the safaris as such and our guide: simply fantastic! I...

Dear Ppool13 Thank you so much for your review - thank you for mentioning how easy it is to make your hot water :) And of course, the most important part about a stay in Madikwe Game Reserve is our fantastic game drives! We look forward to having you back. Thanks and best eco regards Caroline Lucas

PROPERTY’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 18 August 2016

I reviewed the Mosetlha Bush Camp & Eco Lodge a couple of years ago and it is time for an update. I can happily say that a truly phenomenal Eco lodge has only gotten better in the interim. Mosetlha was already a class act two years ago but there have been some significant changes that are worth commenting on. To...

Wow, Tony, thank you! What a wonderful, detailed, beautifully written review - covering the reserve, the camp, the staff - and transcendental field guides, I suspect they'll like that a lot :) - the photographic safaris, and the animals. Thanks for mentioning all your leopard sightings - I think Madikwe really is coming into its own on the game viewing...

An amazing place, very well run and fantastic guides. Relaxed bush experience. Only comment would be that some of the units are quite close so there is not much privacy, if that important to you. Can't wait to go back!

Dear Pink_and_Yellow Thanks so much for your review - short and sweet! Some of the cabins are adjoining (not sure if you were in one of those) and are kept for families or friends travelling together. And, yes, the entire camp is pretty intimate - reason for this is that we're unfenced and like to keep it this way :)...

When I was planning my travel do South Africa I would like to visit a place that really preserve the wildlife and spend money to help animals and not with false "sanctuaries". When I visit Mosethlha I realize that I did the right choice. A wonderful place , sustainable, worried with the animals, excelent and prepared guides, well... with you...

I had a wonderful three-night stay at Mosetlha. As an editorial journalist and photographer I know a good thing when I see it. Positioned discreetly in the heart of the wonderful (malaria free) Madikwe Reserve, it more than lived up to its billing as an authentic bush camp and eco lodge. Its size assures intimacy and it has a delightful...

This is glamping in the bush - well thought out. hot water for your bucket showers, good food and attentive host. The game drives were superb and we saw a lot of game close up. Coffee stop in the morning and sundowner - even in the rain in the evening. I would come again but would be a little better...

We had a lovely experience at the eco bush camp and enjoyed very much the personal attention from the staff, especially the big surprise they prepared us: a romantic dinner at the camp fire with a beautiful bottle of champagne. We had a unforgettable honey moon!

Mosethla Bush Camp is for lovers of wild life, caring for the environment and the wildlife within it. It is not the sort of game lodge one visits for haute cuisine, the swimming pool, the decor, the air conditioning and en suite facilities. But wow what a fabulous experience. The reception is not quite your normal hotel. Monika showed us...

The Mosetlha bush camp has been our family's favourite place to view game in South Africa since we first visited in 2003 when our two boys were still youngsters. Dear JBURGBarbara What a lovely review - thank you so much! Yes, I remember the early days when your youngest would eat only rice :) Being located at the very heart of Madikwe certainly has its benefits! And, yes, I also love our table ...
