We chose this place because of the price. The room was okay and clean when we arrived. The ongoing housekeeping seemed absent during our stay, however. I agree with another reviewer that that ground floor hall smells a lot like smoke. We were upstairs and it was not smelly. Overall, this is a basic and inexpensive place to stay. We... More

The beds are the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. There is a refrigerator, microwave and hairdryer though. That's the only thing they have going for them. We got there about 8 and we hadn't had dinner so we went to the buffet. Don't bother this was the worst idea I have ever had. We didn't like anything... More

We have stayed here a few times. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are clean, comfortable and quite roomy. We had a beautiful view from out room, watched a storm come over the mountains. We enjoy the buffet a lot, great food at a reasonable price. The staff

I booked a room at the Ohkay hotel and casino in New mexico. Room was pretty dirty and in pretty bad repair. But oh well it was a cheap room. About 6am the fire alarm went off then about 15 minutes of staff running through halls saying false alarm. Then about a hour later it went off again. Again, oh... More

You can smell the place before entering - it literally stinks of stale and fresh smoke. You cannot avoid it. We arrived early (as we have in the past) but were told to wait 30 mins. for the room to be cleaned. After 15 mins. that was changed to wait an hour because the keys are programmed not to open... The price we paid is hard to beat - a few bucks more than the stripped-down Motel 6 in town, and _many_ more amenities. (Sign up for the player's club for a good discount on the rate.) The rooms are very clean and reasonably quiet, the beds are reasonably comfortable and there is an air of calm about the place,... More

Manager Westin needs a vacation or a new job. He was proficient but unpleasant. The room was an excellent deal. We were on the first floor, which smelled of smoke, but we were warned. The buffet was the worst food I have had in years. Eat at the little cafe instead. It was a good value.

Rooms were large compared to the standard chain motel. Rooms are clean, and have a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. No smoke smell in rooms despite smoking allowed in casino. The front desk staff was very friendly, even offered to let us see a room before committing. The price was just slightly above that of a chain motel, but easily made... More

My wife and I have stayed a few there a few times in the past. Seems like they have gone down hill. Our last visit (which will be our last) was met with a pungent odor so strong in the hallways that it gave both of us a migraine headache. Seems a chemical of some sort was used to mask... More

Not the fanciest casino, but VERY nice! And the staff is about the friendliest that we've dealt with in ages! The room is great and the price is fantastic! The food is very good and the price is superb! Definitely recommend staying here!
