I like reading reviews for places I've stayed. It's always great to read the favorable and the unfavorable. Each one of them is a reflection of the person writing them. The favorable are really happy to have found a place that they look forward to returning. The unfavorable seem to seek problems because that's the way they live their lives....

Don't expect the owners to honor the clearly stated, on their web site free firewood supplied. Seems there is a " season" for them to supply firewood. Even though they were burning wood in their fireplace when it was snowing in November and the Temp low overnight dropped to 16 degrees. Maybe their season starts around Christmas we don't know....

There is a season for complimentary firewood. The Taos Fire Department encourages us not to put out free firewood for the public until all of our leaves are picked up. We average about 150 + bags each year and we just started the bagging process upon your arrival. Because of the weather we didn't request that you not burn. I...

After reading the TripAdvisor reviews, we decided this was the place to stay during our visit to Taos in August. The owners were very accommodating and gracious. Because we arrived later than expected, Nancy called our cell phone, concerned that we might have gotten lost. We were in Casita C. It was a cute little casita, with a nice covered...

You absolutely can't go wrong staying at Burch Street Casitas! We felt as if we were staying with friends in their guest casita! The casita is delightful and beautifully decorated in the Taos manner with radiant-heated Saltillo tile floors, a wonderful wood burning kiva, fabulous comfortable bed, and very user-friendly kitchenette. The 4 casitas are located (along with the owners'...

This group of 4 casitas is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the plaza. It is cozy and safe especially for this woman traveling alone. Nice and clean and beautiful southwest feel but not over the top. Loved it! Plan to return.

This isn't just the best place to stay in Taos, it might be the best place in New Mexico. We've been staying at the Burch Street Casitas for eight summers now and we booked for an extra week there next year. The casitas are tucked away on an old residential street behind the innkeepers' (Nancy & Jim) home. The location...

We had a fantastic weeks stay at Burch Street Casitas. Never having traveled in New Mexico I was a bit stressed about staying in a new town and at new lodging. My worries were put to rest as soon as we walked into the casita. It was adorable!!!!! Cozy, quiet, beautifully maintained. There was a wonderful rain shower the first...

I just can't say enough about our favorite vacation place in Taos, New Mexico, Burch Street Casitas. Tucked back down a private drive just a few blocks from the Plaza on the square lies the best vacation accommodations you could ever imagine. There are 4 casitas nestled back in the back of the property under large trees. The area is...

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and both agree we will never stay anywhere else when we go to Taos! It was private and we enjoy having a kitchen. Slept great every night as the beds are comply! We are already planning a trip back!

Clean, nice, spacious, quiet, convenient to downtown, plus has a kitchenette! The owners are fantastic, nice and honest. We stayed here for the first time last weekend and were so happy that we chose to. If you are looking for a place that is close to downtown but has all the amenities of home and is clean then this is...
