We stayed at Palacio de Marquesa this past weekend, it is an incredible southwest resort property, It reminded us of an Estancia outside of Buenos Aires, "Estancia Candelaria". It's located just five minutes from the Historic Taos Plaza, 30 minutes from Taos Ski Valley, 20 minute from Taos Pueblo, this quaint quiet B & B is amazing! Chad was a...

We came to Taos to ski at Taos Ski Valley and were delighted with our experience at Palacio de Marquesa. Chad the manager was friendly and very accommodating to all of our needs, including excellent dinner recommendations. The breakfasts were outstanding and prepared us for a full day of skiing (although it would have been nice to be able to...

We had nothing short of an amazing experience at Palacio! From the delicious breakfast, to the clean and luxurious room. Best of all, Chad will make you feel right at home. He is so knowledgable about Taos and you can tell that his guests are his first priority. Thanks Palacio and Chad for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to...

My wife and I had a great experience in this Spanish-style bed and breakfast. The rooms are high-quality, and the manager, Chad, went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. Connected with this hotel is something called "Local treasures." When you stay here, you can use the Local Treasures discount (15% off) that is recognized at several...

If you can get this place for a couple of hundred bucks a night or less it would be ok. Other than that don't bother. The manager Chad is a super nice guy, but even he cant save this place from itself. It is like a charming Best Western plus. Breakfast isn't served 'till 8am, so if you want to...

We are a family of four ( two teens 15 and 18) who have traveled extensively both in the U.S. and in other countries. We had trouble finding a place to stay in Taos, initially because of Trip Advisor Reviews. We finally came to find Palacio de Marquesa and learned it had a recent name change. Our room was large...

Pet friendly, tranquil setting and beautiful gardens. Fireplace in the room and friendly staff. We stayed in the 'Illuminator Room' which was very nice although quite white, and our German Shepherd unfortunately left his black hair about. Spa onsite which my wife enjoyed. Gourmet breakfast delivered to the room (or in the main dining room), which consisted of Spinach and...

My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous, quiet, spiritual getaway while attending a wedding in Taos. We stayed in the "Romantic" room where every little detail was tastefully and beautifully presented from the huge shower to the radiant floor heat, to the beautifully appointed furnishings to the charming kiva fireplace to even a black "makeup" wash cloth! The main...

I stayed here over the weekend (Friday-Sunday) and had a gorgeous room (the Diva room) with a lot of space, a fireplace, and a bathroom with a walk in shower that has heated floors. The wonderful staff and service make you feel as if you are the only person staying there and because it's a quiet spot, you can relax...
