This place could be super But. We stayed in the Persimmon suite. The rooms were fine but the furniture was grossly old and worn. It needs to be replaced. It had a coffee maker but no filters nor coffee. Staff were very nice.

My wife and I stayed at the Pelican Annex, which is on the southern edge of town but still close to downtown and about 0.6 miles from the spa. The room was incredibly nice, especially for the cost, and the service was terrific. We spent an entire month there, avoiding the heart of a Minnesota winter. Sid and Grace are...

The Pelican is not a nice motel. It is not just that it is old and worn down, which could be charming, but because the hot spring access is very poor and the rooms are awful. There are five hot spring tubs which are available on a first come, first serve basis. You cannot plan your day around tub availability. Not...

The staff members were super nice and helpful. My room was "roomy" and 1960's funky: blue painted wooden floors, weird art work in the bathroom, and a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and the TV reception was OK. Only was there to sleep and did not use the spa as I wasn't feeling up to it. The doors creek and...

My wife and our 12 mo old and I stayed here for almost a week during a family visit. I had an amazing mineral bath here. However this hotel lacked basic upkeep and was very understaffed and unfortunately many businesses in this unique western town seem to have the same problem. VERY rustic accommodations. There was an envelope in the...

This is a little hidden gem. The rooms were clean, fully equipped with a kitchen, fridge, etc. our room came with a backyard which our dog enjoyed. The mineral baths are free (unlimited). There are rest restaurants and grocery stores in the area at walking distance. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be going back soon! The only negative...

Noise from attached rooms a little annoying, (but the woman was talking quite loudly--she was mad about something)...Super cute room with efficiency kitchen. Concrete floors, so slippers/flip flops recommended. Bring a robe to walk back and forth to the tubs. If staying in courtyard, can soak 24 hrs. If not, the gate is locked at 10p and opens at 8a....

Okay, if you want funky, hippy dippy, unusual, and spot on above camping level treats, this is the place to be. Absolutely loved every inch of this place. We had a small kitchen. Be sure to bring your own dishes, tableware, and other items to make your stay great. Shopping is close. Hot springs are there is a small private...

Came here with BFF for a girl's getaway. Usual preferences were booked and this got pretty decent reviews, although we thought it a total dive. The beds creaked, it was dirty, coffee pot didn't work and my friend found a roach in her bag when we were packing. The toilet paper dispenser hadn't been cleaned in ions. Bathroom the size...

In the little town of Truth or Consequences lives the Pelican Spa. This little gem is run by wonderful human beings. There is a sense of calm about the place (it may be the well being classes that take place in the Peilcan's court yard). We stayed in the P.A.M., or the Pelican Apartment Motel. We had plenty of space...
