Upon arriving at the guesthouse, we were made to feel at home and relaxed. The room, set in their garden, was spotless clean and airy. When stepping out into the garden you can enjoy covered areas from the sun or wonder amongst the trees and flowers. Breakfast is taken in the garden when fresh fruit salad is served in tall...

This is a wonderful place to stay! -it may not be the height of luxury, but when you can have character, comfort, beautiful surroundings and so many advantages you would be really hard pressed to find anywhere better! We returned for our third time here and it felt brilliant to be back. Leon and Dennis are great hosts, breakfast being...

I have never been sure what is meant by a 'boutique' hotel/guesthouse is, but this to my mind hits the spot. It's run and owned by such a nice character 'Leon' who takes such pride in his place. It's furnished with loads of interesting bits and bobs and gives a real homely feel. Yes the rooms could be bigger, if...

Having stayed there quite a number of times, the consistency of the beautiful and comfortable product Leon and Denis offer is notable. The rooms are spotless and amply equipped, the common areas are warm and looked after with great care and detail. Gardens and lushly decorated courtyards with fountains, flowers and birdsong bring a natural comfort to this historic guest...

An amazing eclectic fantastic place to stay with the most wonderful hosts Leon and Dennis It great to find such a hidden gem run by a wonderful couple and feel like part of their extended family rather than their customers Graham & Anthony xx

Stayed one evening with a group cycling tour. Room was comfy and cosy with an exquisite mosaic bathroom floor. Leon the owner and his partner Denis really made the experience though through their warmth and generosity. Leon was the consummate host keeping us entertained in the bar in the evening and then serving us a fantastic breakfast the following day....

The charming hosts run a honesty bar system, this together with the quaint quirky setting of the establishment allows you to go back to a time when everything was just good and simple. So refreshing. Only downside - our room and shower could have been a bit more spacious, however - clean and fully functional.

We stayed with Leon and Denis following a recommendation from my parents (who have been twice) and were very glad we visited. The style is a little eclectic, cosy and comfortable, full of interesting books and artwork and we could quite easily have spent several days relaxing there (sadly we only had one night). We sadly didn't get a chance...

This is a return visit to this delightful guesthouse. Leon, the owner made us most welcome and our garden facing room was comfortable and quiet. Just a short walk from all the main amenities, shopping and eateries on the busy Route 62. This is a perfect tranquil stopover for travellers.
