It is a rock climbers dream but I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone that loves the outdoors. It is such a unique landscape and really is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Well worth the drive!

Great stay with very friendly people/staff. Really enjoyed the self catering tent as well as the cabin. Beautiful location. Lots of fun with the dogs accompanying us on every adventure. Great boulders.

Perfect choice for anyone who wants to stay more isolated. There are no outlets, just 2 usb chargers at the generator. The light is weak and we used headlamps to cook at night. But the shower heater is very good. We spent 12 nights with our 3 years old daughter, and she enjoyed so much the "yard"with sand and a...

Porcupine Place totally exceeded our expectations. What a wonderful experience. Very clean, neat and well equipped. Beautiful tent, generous bathroom and comfy bed. Our doggy enjoyed the trails and the friends on the farm. I would go again in a heartbeat.

We went for bouldering at Rocklands. De Pakhuys is a short walk to many great boldering spots. There is a great community vibe at the camp. You are sure to make some new friends every time you go! We'll be back soon!

Tracy and JP made our stay unforgettable. De Pakhuys is a real gem tucked away promising peace, tranquility and beauty. Whether its sitting all night by the fire outside your room or walking through the magnificent rock formations to the waterfall. We are already planning our next trip back! Can't wait!

We enjoyed our peaceful stay at De Pakhuys (Dassie Den). Quiet in the evenings with no disturbances. Basic equipment, but everything you need. Nice hiking trails and swimming spots. We would go again!

What a fantastic weekend away! Dassie Den is the most unique, original weekend away we have ever had - we can recommend this place to anyone wanting to connect with nature and wanting an unpretentious glamping experience. JP, our host was so welcoming and the tent had everything we could need. We will be back!

On our arrival JP welcomed us and made us feel at home. We had everything we needed in the tent and camping site and we spent a peaceful 2 days and now know the difference between camping and glamping.

My wife and I was very pleased with the comfort and peacefulness Porcupine Place at De Pakhuys had to offer. Wish we could stay longer to explore all the hiking trails. Making fire and braaing in front of a privately setup area made it feel like we were the only ones there. Highly recommended for a breakaway from the busy...
