The dream started when we arrived to the camp by helicopter after having flown over the Delta from Duba Plains. Complete flexibility (we have always had our private vehicle) was a signature during the entire stay and we have always felt free to design our safari experience according to our desires. Isaac, our guide, worked hard to explain to us...

Our tent was complete with a plunge pool, refrigerator, copper bath tub and indoor and outdoor showers. The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The game viewing was excellent. The food was excellent. Massage (excellent!) is available. Our guide, Isaac, is a phenomenal tracker.

Dumela! from the Zarafa team. Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Zarafa. We are delighted that you found the food, massages and game viewing to be excellent. Isaac sends his regards. He loves the challenge of tracking our more elusive wildlife species and sharing his vast knowledge and experience with guests. That's wonderful that...

This was our second visit to this more then beautiful lodge. The camp only has 4 very very big tents and is decorated in the classic-colonail- safari Africa style. The service is great and the food outstanding. I was looking forward for sundowners on their pontoonboat at the lake in front of the lodge but visiting at the end of...

Truly a magical place in the Okavango Delta. With friends (all seasoned safari travelers) fantastic game drives with our experienced ranger Lets. Very adequate and pleasant company in a close group of friends. The lodge is fantastic situated. A main building with separat four tents. No ordinary tents, but totally equipped providing a luxurious classic version (really gives the original...

What I love the most about Zarafa other than the excellent animal viewing is the fact that there are only four tents in the Main Camp so that means a total possibly of 8 people there. The staff far out numbers the guests.. and they have a trained chef for food which is very unusual in the Safari Lodge or...

After an hour flight from Maun, in a 6-seater, we arrived at a landing strip, and were greeted by our guide for the next four days. The 'game drive' started right there on the drive to the camp in an open Land Cruiser, with roof cover. This camp is a "Chateau + Relais" member, so that will tell you a...

Thank you for your wonderfully detailed review of Zarafa Camp, a luxury safari camp and the only Relais & Chateaux property in Botswana. Being such a small camp allows us to be completely flexible in timings of meals and activities, with times for wake ups and drives changing with the seasons in order to ensure maximum comfort and possibilities for...

Best camp ever, super management, great guide and wonderfull tents, we saw a lot of spectacular things, it was really full of game there! There is WiFi, but they should keep that a secret, don't spoil the impression that you are in the Bush, remote.... Only inform when guests ask is my proposal!

Thank you for your review of Zarafa Camp, we appreciate you taking the time. Thank you for your suggestion on the wifi. We keep the wifi limited to the comfort of the luxury tents only, to keep with that remote feeling when we gather for meals in the main area. Take care, The Zarafa Team.

Reuben, our guide, was a magician. My wife wanted to see giraffes, so he got us close to multiple giraffes. We wanted to see lions, so he found us a mother, niece and three cubs to observe a number of times over the two days we were there. He also found us a pride of lions on the hunt through...

Thank you for sharing your experience in such wonderful detail. We're happy you enjoyed your time with professional guide (and master tracker) Reuben. At Zarafa Camp in The Selinda Reserve, we are fortunate to have herds of elephants pass through camp, especially during the driest months of August till October. Since the elephants rely on the water from the Zibadianja...

My wife and I just finished our honeymoon in Botswana. Among three stellar camps, Zarafa stood head-and-shoulders above the others. The physical setting on a bountiful lagoon is stunning. From the deck, we saw hippos, elephants, impalas, lechwe, hyenas and (even) a leopard. The rooms are elegant and stylish and maintained perfectly. Remarkably, perhaps the greatest element of Zarafa was...

What a wonderful review, thank you so much for your kind words. We loved hosting you at Zarafa for your honeymoon and surprising you along the way.
