We spent 3 nights at MMA Dinare as part of a trip where also we visited 2 other camps (one in South Africa and one in Botswana).

I believe MMA Dinare is a great value camp. It was the least expensive of the 3 camps we visited, but the game viewing and our guide/tracker (T and Lake) were excellent. We did not see any rhinos, but we did see the rest of the Big 5 and we saw plentiful elephants, giraffes, cape buffalo, zebra, impalas, and kudus. We also saw lions and a leopard. One day we were taken on a peaceful Mokoro boat ride and were fortunate to observe an Elephant crossing the river during our ride.

The non-game drive food and service was good, but slightly below what we experienced at the other camps, but again this camp was not as expensive. Food was served buffet style which was a bit surprising since we visited while Covid was still a concern. There was always plenty of food, but we felt the quality was average. Drinks are unlimited, but most premium brands are not available.

The camp facilities are nice. The main lodge and the rooms/tents overlook the Gomoti river and flood plains. Elephants could often be seen from the lodge and rooms. We heard lots of different animal sounds at night. My wife particularly enjoyed listening to the hippos. The dining room, lounge, bar, and fire pit all look out over the flood plains providing interesting views. There is no Wi-Fi available, so you are completely disconnected while visiting this camp.

The accommodations were good. There was an extremely comfortable, tented king-sized bed and they bring hot water bottles to keep you warm at night. The room also had a lounge area in the front of the tent where they dropped off coffee in the morning when they awoke you for the morning game drive. The shower is outdoors, but fully surrounded by walls for privacy.

This is a great camp for game viewing. We were extremely impressed with our guide and tracker. The camp facilities, food and service are luxurious but not super luxurious. If you are looking to be completely pampered while at camp, I would look elsewhere. However, overall, this a great value camp with excellent game viewing.

The lodge location is very exclusive and has almost no camps around which makes the game car very private and there are a lot of animals (we saw many many lions, buffalos, elephants and hyenas). Our guides Action and Sam were super nice, provided a great service, and knew the area perfectly. The rest of the staff provided also a great service, the common area is very confortable with great views. The rooms were decorated with great taste although were not super luxurious, and it was very cold during the night.

We arrived at Santawani Airstrip from Pom Pom Camp for a stay of 4 nights here at Mma Dinare. We were originally scheduled in to Rra Dinare but they are identical and due to Covid impacts they had Rra Dinare closed. We could not have been happier with every little detail. We stayed in Tent #9 which was the second to last tent on the walkway and it was amazing. One night at 2:30am we had two massive bull elephants eating right next to each side of the tent. AMAZING. You really did feel like you were in the middle of the wilderness, which you are. Lion and Hyena calls at night were not scary at all and soothed you to sleep. The game drives were amazing. We saw Wild Dogs, the Santawani Pride of lions which is some 23 strong, and absolutely amazing views at every stop. We highly recommend our guide and tracker.

NT was our guide and Play was our tracker. They were both amazingly knowledgeable and dedicated to getting us all of the sightings, all of the time. We were lucky enough to have regular sightings of wild dogs, leopards, and lions. There were so many prey animals that the predators were out at every game drive. We saw baby lions, baby black backed jackals, baby elephants, baby buffalo, and so much more.

The food and service at the camps was amazing. The camp manager , Tiny, was supremely friendly and accommodating at every turn. The food service staff was always friendly and made sure your needs were taken care of....even before you knew you needed anything! I highly recommend this camp for an add on to the Okavango. It is right outside the delta camp but provides an amazing range of views, sightings, and unique animals that it is worth it. Moremi air took us from the 25 minute flight from the Pom Pom airstrip and it was worth the short flight. I would recommend at least 4 nights to see the max.

We have spent a lot of time in the Botswana bush, but have never seen so many incredible sightings jam packed into two days. The game drives blew us away!

The lodge itself is beautiful with big spacious rooms with their own balconies and little lounge areas as well as a gorgeous outside shower. The lodge main area has incredible views and is a perfect spot to have your afternoon tea before a game drive or enjoy a drink.

Highly recommend Mma DInare! We cant wait to go back.

We spent three nights at Mma Dinare in September. Our first experience was a huge old elephant inches away from our balcony, you could see his long eyelashes! Our game drives were excellent with our well-informed guide NT and our tracker Boxer (who said little but saw everything). The only fly in the ointment was the dreadful roads, soft sand inches deep, which meant that we felt we were on a rocking boat in a storm for kilometre after kilometre, spoiling an otherwise wonderful experience round the bush. NT took us on a bush walk which we loved and seeing the huge pride of lion on the way to the airstrip was a final highlight. The camp itself was beautifully positioned with views across the river. We found our tented room very hot in September and the fan did not seem to help much. The food was rather patchy. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and were quite willing to listen to any requests. Hopefully the government will do something about the roads in the near future to make things easier for the Camp and their guests.

We had a very nice time in Mma Dinare. The rooms are spectacular: 80 m2 luxury tent with an outdoor shower (very pleasant), a private terrace which allowed us to have a nice drink while watching the animals and river, the rooms are on stilts so there's a good chance to cross an animal on the way to diner !
The guide we had was great and we saw almost everything. We went tracking the lions for 2 hours and were rewarded by finding 6 of them. The private concessions allows you to be very close to animals (off tracks) and stay with them as long as you want (only cars from the lodge are allowed). You are also allowed to night drive and thanks to that we saw 2 leopards hunting which was an amazing experience.
The staff was very kind. As it was our honeymoon, we had some sparkling wine in the room, decorations on the bed and the best was the brunch in front of the hippos!
Swimming pool area could be better, small children are allowed in the lodge and we had a lot of noise during one afternoon. Food could be a bit better.

My family of four spent four nights at this lovely and secluded camp. This is primarily a land safari camp, and we loved riding around in the Toyota Landcruiser seeing all sorts of large and small animals and birds. The variety of wildlife and scenery was incredible, more than we ever imagined we would see. Grass and Edwin, our friendly and helpful guides, seemed knowledgeable about each and every animal and bird we saw. The camp manager greeted us when we left and returned from each safari, which was a nice touch. The rooms, food and service at the camp were very good, and 20+ elephants and the occasional giraffe often grazed directly behind the camp. Our stay at Mma Dinare Camp was wonderful.

Mma Dinare was a wonderful place where we’ve spent 3 nights and had 3 game drives! Thanks to our guide Alco we’ve seen an abundance of animals. We twice saw two cheetahs minding their own business after having a copious meal and after two days trying to provide for one. Lots of giraffes, warthogs, zebras, impalas, antilopes, birds, gnoes, elephants. A spotted hyena, a brown hyena. A lion and lioness mating in front of the car. And after a track of 1,5hour we were rewarded by the sight of two rhinoceros!
Not forgetting the absolute stunning view you have from your room and restaurant overlooking the river, watching sunrise and seeing (and hearing) all the animals. It’s been fantastic!

This little superb and breathtaking camp is situated in Sankoyo Concession, 272 kms from Maun and falls under One Botswana Sky Safaris. The place is beautiful and strategically placed overlooking Gomoti River. Its built on an elevated deck and Gomoti River waters flows right underneath the elevated deck. I can imagine when the river is full and water overflows out of the river- the scenery might be out of this world, breathtaking. The reception, service and hospitality at this place is remarkable. The general staff is warm and welcoming. The managers- Hendricks and Mangwe knows their staff and made my stay memorable. The chefs made delicious meals and ensured the guests were well fed. My waitresses, Mass and Kido were superstars, their ever unfading smile made me look forward to each meal. My guide NT and Pooler Lake were excellent. These two are rare gems and make a great team. They know their stuff and made my stay remarkable. The sightings during game drive and mokoro were unbeatable. Saw lions, giraffes, buffalos, elephants, kudus, tsessebe, different types of birds, just to mention a few. The area is rich in wildlife. I also met other people in the camp, Chris, a guide and Mod responsible for the curio shop. They were also warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay in Mma Dinare Camp and will definitely do a repeat visit.
