Beaver River Lodge is a fantastic place to stay for any reason at all! My third trip a few weeks ago during the 4th of July weekend was a wonderful getaway with excellent hospitality. The very personable hosts, Barry and Jose, provide such a peaceful, clean and comfortable place to be. During the wintertime, Beaver River Lodge welcomes the outdoor...

We spent the 4th of July weekend at Beaver River Lodge. We were picked up from the public boat dock by Jose and Barry, loaded into the boat, and away we went. The lodge is very interesting, comfortable, and relaxing. We took several hikes around Beaver River and there is water everywhere you look. Barry helped us get a kayak...

We stayed at the lodge this last weekend snowmobiling. What a great time! Barry, Shelly, Jose, and Chad are the most down to earth fun loving group. They went well over and beyond a normal lodge or bed and breakfast. Their hospitality was the best I have experienced. The beds are super comfy! We are already looking to when we...

This is an amazing place. Beautiful furniture and very clean. The bathroom is nice too. Barry and Jose are nice hosts. And the best is the boat ride to get there. I would have never pictured myself giving a place a 5 rating with no cell reception, no if I and shared baths. But that is the wonderful thing about...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At Beaver River Lodge, a former Adirondack hunting and fishing camp, the lure of rustic solitude abounds in this hard to reach retreat. Accessible only by boat or rail, Beaver River Lodge maintains yesteryear charm in a 125 year old hotel located in the hamlet of Beaver River Station. The lodge sits on 4 acres in the middle of the Adirondack Park 10 miles up the scenic Stillwater Reservoir. Enjoy local laid back culture, while taking advantage of everything the great out doors has to offer. Many interesting all-day kayaking, canoeing and hiking trips are in the immediate area. Fishing and swimming are available nearby with many additional locations on the reservoir. The lodge hosts several activities throughout the year including wine and food pairings, wine education, family and group gatherings. Relax and enjoy the remote location and the ability to get away from it all. ... more   less
