My son and daughter-in-law just celebrated their marriage by having the ceremony and reception at the Kaaterskill. Even though the date was Oct. 19, the weather was beautiful. The ceremony was held outdoors. We then went to the Pond House for the Cocktail Hour and then to the Barn for the reception. My son is a graphic designer so he...

We came to the kaaterskill with my four children for two nights last week. The staff was very flexible and accommodating. The view was beautiful and the animals on the farm just added to our stay. We will be coming back again!

Just had our wedding at the Kaaterskill in late May--on a day that hit a high of 45 degrees. So, not quite the weather we were expecting for what we'd originally pictured as an outdoor wedding with a reception in an unheated barn! (We were cold.) This is an exquisite gem in the middle of the Catskills. The inn is beautiful and surrounded by the most enticing landscape - a huge pond, a boathouse, a path winding around the grounds and picturesque mountains in the background. Breathtaking and relaxing! Very comfortable beds in enormous rooms that are fully stocked with all the amenities!

You will never regret to visit and stay. Also it is near Hudson and Saugerties for great antiques and shops. We loved the hospitality and the walks around the river. Victoria, the...

It is fantastic getting to a place which is even better than what you see in the pictures. Each room has its own style that invites to relax. Then, when you look through the windows, the nature invites to get closer. Having the opportunity to go on a walk by the river with the company of a happy dog and...
