We arrived close to 1am via uber from LaGuardia Airport...I would highly recommend this for quick transportation as we were exhausted from our flights. The outer appearance of the hotel itself is nothing to be thrilled about. We had large luggage which was tight to get through their narrow doorways. Smelled of marijuana or some kind of cigar smoke in...

Found this hotel through Booking.com, not very cheap but nice enough. We came from JFK, but this hotel has a free shuttle only from LaGuardia, so we needed to spend some money for Airbus too. Hotel is in Queens, Hispanics population mostly, was very interesting to walk around a little bit. The only thing we didn't like is metro train...

The hotel doesn't look like much sitting next to the subway. But it was very good for us. The staff was welcoming and helpful and pleasant. The room was clean the carpet looked fresh. It smelled good. The room was spacious with two beds and lots of space between. There were numerous electrical outlets. The bathroom was large. The shower...

Definitely not worth the money your spending... Had to wait almost 30 minutes to be checked in, then when I returned back to my room at 2am after business meetings I found a spec of blood underneath my sheets, and there were also holes in them. The Best Western across the street is 100% better. Definitely fine if you just...

When the taxi dropped me off I thought I had made a mistake. This hotel has no curb appeal. Roosevelt Ave. runs under the raised subway which rackets by about every five minutes, still it was close to Citi Field where I was taking in a game. The entrance is unusual as you enter and then go down stairs to...

Paid 185 Dollars on May 13 for a clean room. Staff at front desk ( young Indian) was obviously not up for the job. Several seedy females checked in (I arrived at midnite) and checked out at 8 am the next morning. Loud railroad / subway noise overpass. Missed shuttle bus because its run in conjunction with Best Western across...

Welcome to New York! If you'd like to pay upwards of $250 a night for a hotel in Manhattan by all means go ahead. But if you're looking to explore NYC a low-to-moderate cost, stay here. The rooms are always clean as is the hotel itself. It is in Corona, Queens, and right next to the 7 train. However despite...

Despite of all good things, the amiability of some of the staff left a lot to desire, they weren't really kind, except for the personal at the reception. Although, the beds were really comfortable, there was a beautiful view from the room, and the location was perfect because it was near to the train station which was very convenient.

Selected the Corona Hotel based on reviews and proximity to LGA. We arrived after dark by taxi from JFK. We knew immediately we would not go out for dinner - hotel entrance under train tracks and the area looked really seedy. In the daylight, however, it looked a little better. Check in is on lower level and entrance to that...

I thought the hotel was nicer than I was expecting. The rooms were very clean, the shuttle to LaGuardia only runs on the hour every hour so expect to wait a little bit. I did use the "Lyft" phone app to get a ride a couple times into Manhattan due to the amount of stops the subway makes. The staff...
