Went twice---once for Sunday lunch----best roast beef ever. Dog friendly in bar but not in Restaurant. Not easy to drive to, and parking a little difficult. But not too far to a park. Good place if walking in the area

For a drink or food yes. Doubt if they would be happy for yo to stay. Having said that one of their bedrooms opens straight into the garden.

We stayed here in October with our Golden Retriever. Our dog was welcome in the room and the bar area.
