My Husband and I stayed in Broom House for 2 nights so that we were close to Whitby for the Gothic Festival. Michael and Georgina were very friendly and made us very welcome. We stayed in room 4, which was extremely nice, a large comfortable and modern room, we were both very pleased with it. Little touches made the stay...

We only stayed for one night but wished we had stayed longer. Situated in a lovely little village by the River Esk, Broom House is a haven of peace and quiet which has recently been renovated by its owners who have turned this large house into a comfortable and stylish place to stay for a visit to the North Yorkshire...

My wife and I went here this weekend for a break. This hotel was recommended to us and I'm extremely glad it was too! The owner went above and beyond, contacting us in the afternoon and again when we were late arriving to make sure all was ok. There is Sky TV in all of the bedrooms although none of...

Lovely position but views into the distance are restricted by numerous trees. The owners and staff are friendly and doing a good job but let down in a number of areas. The bedroom was very clean and modern but unfortunately there was no luxurious bed. It was the hardest bed the we have attempted to sleep on for a long...

Broom House is a really lovely B&B set a few miles inland from Whitby. There are eight letting rooms, a spacious dinning room, comfy lounge and well tended gardens that guests can access. The house itself stands alone in the countryside on a bend in the road and close to the railway line to Whitby. It’s a quiet location with...

This was our second visit to the Broom House. We again stayed for two nights. The only disappointment was having to leave! Michael, the owner, and other staff were brilliant and provided a high level of service. The bedroom was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts are always outstanding. The gardens are extremely quiet and secluded. This hotel is...
