Spent a few days here in late July. Stayed in the fairly new (3 years old?) second floor deluxe two-room suite. Clean, clean, clean. As this stay was in the middle of the pandemic, that was sooo important to us. We brought our own linens for the bed, but there were linens available, cleaned and sealed in plastic. We did wipe down the entire room and touch points with our own disinfecting wipes, too. What's nice about the suite is that there are only four units in the building, and no one can pass by your unit, so it's fairly private. We had a friend staying in the motel efficiency rooms, and they are more basic, but clean. The cottages looked very nice from the outside. The resort was fully booked, but there was plenty of room at the beach. Free use of kayaks is such…

The positives first: I booked this resort at the height of corona quarantine because it’s still within my state, upstate had opened up more quickly than Long Island and I wanted something where we wouldn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. This place delivers on all fronts. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating to the nth degree. The place is quaint and clean. Right on the lake with a little beach and free kayaks and rowboats. We got an efficiency which had the most adorable little kitchen and was fully stocked with everything you’d need for cooking on one of their bbqs or in the kitchen. The only con, and it really isn’t a con, were the people who come regularly with a huge group of people I’m assuming family reunions? While it goes to show that people come…

Last minute mini vacation with husband and teen. So glad we chose Blue Lagoon. Check in was straight forward and friendly. New procedures explained. You have to make your own beds because of covid, fine with me. I NEVER touch hotel duvets. Gross! But theirs were new and smelt freshly washed and zip locked. Great! No maid service so less traffic in your room. Fine. Free kayaks and life jackets, nightly bonfire , BBQ’s galore. Clean beach area and dock. Water is very shallow until way out, great for little kids. Play areas and maintained quiet swimming pool ( across the main road) , mini gym, mini golf ( tired but functioning), basketball hoop, hiking trail ( arrows went so far, we had to turn back) And space for kids to play, catch , throw. I was impressed with what they had to…

I booked a room through booking.com, but when the original room description did not match the confirmation, I canceled the same day and got a cancellation confirmation from booking, com. It has been 2 months and Blue Lagoon has still not returned my money! Beware!

This is great place to stay when you'e visiting the Lake George area. The rooms are clean and spacious; nothing extravagant but clean and comfortable - our room (#13) was equipped with two TV's and basic kitchen needs: Coffee maker (and filters!), microwave and fridge. The beds were comfortable with nice firm mattresses; assigned parking close to the room with an overflow lot across the street. For an area with no shortage of lodging options, Blue Lagoon seems to be a well run, quality establishment that earns repeat customers. If we're back in the area, we'll look here first.

Due to serious illness in our family we had to cancel our booking. My nephew who was to have a ceremony and reception there had to cancel as it was his Dad. Gave them almost 5 weeks notice but they are keeping $50.00 just because...it is policy! I have a problem with that kind of policy when it is their peak season and they will surely fill the place up. Just wanted to let people know and be aware.

Rooms updated since last stay. Still could use a bit more, carpet bedspreads, mattresses. Bathroom was nicely updated although had a musty smell. Needed to keep the door closed to the bathroom. Pillows not the most comfortable. Could use a few more hooks, and shelves in the bathroom.would love to have a screen door to be able to leave door open without bringing in the flys. Love the fact that property is flat to the beach, an easy walk. View just spectacular. Love the bonfire in the evening.

We have stayed in Lake George many times but this was our first visit to The Blue Lagoon , we stayed in cabin 10 and we were extremely pleased . The resort came highly recommended by family friends , and I would now highly recommend it to my friends as well . Cabin 10 was a huge home with plenty of space for us , our party consisted of 4 adults and two children . If you have a large group this cabin is for you . The cabin had three bedrooms and 2 full baths and one half , and the floor plan on the main level was perfect for group entertaining , a open concept design with a granite fully stocked kitchen was wonderful , the kitchen had a full size fridge and freezer and dish washer , they provide you with dish soap and detergent for the dishwasher . The main level of the home had…

This was our 16th year and except for some bad weather, it was another great week for me and the kids. As usual, the staff is more like family always welcoming and meeting any need. One of the best parts of the visit is the consistency of other families we have met being there year after year. If you are looking to start a family tradition or just get away for a few days The Blue Lagoon in Diamond Point is the place to be!
