Fifteen beautifully equipped en-suite accommodation suites are all furnished to a high standard, with Egyptian cotton bed linen, down pillows, luxurious high-pressure showers, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and flat screen TVs. Deep in rural England, overnight stays are exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Our four Inn Rooms are a wonderful mix of old and new, with ancient oak beams and contemporary furnishings, while our six Garden Rooms offer a simple rural rustic charm and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Introducing our five Shepherd's Huts, new for 2019, a slice of elegant luxury lies nestled in the Surrey Hills in these decadent "glamping" experience Huts. Continental and full English breakfast is served between 8am and 10am in the Inn. There’s plenty of free on-site parking, free wifi, and children and dogs happily welcomed!

I went for a one nights stay with my dog - staying somewhere on your own can be quite daunting but the staff were amazing. Particularly Louise who spotted that I was trying to get to the bar to tell them I had arrived for my evening meal And she made a point of coming to get me and looked after me. All the staff were friendly. The garden view room was great although WiFi was hit and miss. This has been the only place where my dog has eaten dinner and breakfast - normally he turns his nose up. Human food was also great! I will definitely be back!

Relaxing weekend at the Merry Harriers. A beautiful pub with bedrooms that look out on super countryside, we had the Llama garden room where the llamas were there to great us every morning. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen and pillows of a high standard. Dinner and breakfast again super. It is a dog friendly place and wish we had taken our dog. Will definitely return for another visit.

A friend and I each rented a Shepherd hut with our dogs, for just one night. The Huts are fab. Well designed with clever use of space. It felt luxurious with gorgeous bed linen, fluffy white huge towels and bathrobes. Even in October they are snug with underfloor heating and a log burner. The staff were fantastic and every request dealt with immediately. I loved it as well as the complimentary wine and huge breakfast. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Such a beautiful place. We had the hut with the hot tub. It was such a peaceful experience. The attention to details were wonderful, a bottle of wine in the fridge, marshmallows, nespresso coffee. Staff were really attentive without being imposing. Already planning our return.

We stayed in the shepherds hut with a hot tub and it was lovely. Had a delicious 3-course dinner in the busy pub then spent the evening in the hot tub with the fire pit going. Breakfast was great - especially loved the mini pastries. Fantastic romantic weekend away and the customer service was 5*

As a birthday celebration, my husband and I booked the two-night 'llama love' experience at the Merry Harriers. The hut itself was cosy and equipped with virtually everything we might need, the bed was comfy and we woke up each morning to the sun rising over the small pond, accompanied by the local rabbits. Martine and her team were so helpful, offering advice on things to do in the local area and sharing stories about the pub's history. The food in the pub was good - the White Hart (in nearby Whitley) was also excellent and provides a BBQ alternative. And Goji and Champagne were the most adorable llamas that we've had the experience of walking with! Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing two days away from the daily grind.
