This B&B is a nice stay. We stayed here for two nights. During our introduction with Doris, she explained that breakfast was served between 9:00 and 10:00. We told her that we would be leaving prior to the 9:00 time. She offered no adjustment to the time. ( we found a very tasty breakfast stand in Richford, NY ). On...

My husband and I found this lovely place on a whim, and to this day we are still talking about it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The inn was lovely and full of charm. The owner was a fabulous hostess. The breakfast served was something we talk about to this day- 14 years later! Not only did we enjoy a...

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was very nice. However, many typical B&B characteristics aren't found. At breakfast, families eat at small tables amongst themselves, so they don't intermingle. The food is tasty, but it is cooked in a kitchen screened off from the dining room. Guests aren't permitted in the kitchen, so they never see where the food...

We spent a weekend at the Candlelight Inn. Lovely bedrooms, with their own bath. The house is on the register of historic buildings so the outside is beautifully tended. Our hostess is a native of the Ithaca region. The rooms are of a decent size, excellent firm beds and truly a fantastic breakfast. The only drawback was the traffic that...

We booked that place at the very last minute upon deciding to take a long week-end trip to Ithaca and the Finger Lakes. The rooms are cozy and filled with antiques. The place is a short drive from Ithaca and all surrounding waterfalls. And the owner goes the extra mile for breakfast: a different menu every day, always very tasty...

Family gathered for my daughters wedding. We stayed at this amazing B&B and created life memories we will always treasure. Great place, amazing breakfast and tremendous hostess. I highly recommend this B&B. You will love it.

We stayed Saturday night, July 11. We attended a family reunion at Buttermilk Falls State Park in Ithaca. Starting in May, I was unable to find a hotel/motel for under $250 closer to the park. I have not stayed in many B&Bs preferring the anonymity of a hotel. However, this stay really was perfect. The room was comfortable and spotless...

The accommodations were very lovely. We stayed on a Saturday night in the Fireplace suite. The room was cozy and comfortable. The jacuzzi was amazing and the fireplace was comforting. The 19th century decor was a treat to experience but we also enjoyed having the modern technology of Dish TV. Breakfast was exceptional and Doris was a very gracious hostess!...

My son and I stayed here in winter while we visited with family in the area. The two-room suite we shared was lovely and very comfortable. Plenty of towels and extra quilts were provided. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows plush. Great attention was given to the breakfast provided - in the spirit of the tea parties formerly...
