The hotel is one of the two main options in Tataouine, and having been to the other one too, the Sangho appears to be lovely too. The first impact is not significant - the lobby is cold, there's very little personnel and you have to fill in your own fiches of data (come on: that's your job, receptionist, not mine),... More

A very nice hotel far, far away. I was there in the beginning of Summer for one night. The room was very good, cool comfy and charming. A couple of small improvements would be welcome, but if you are willing to overlook them, you won't notice them. Food was good. I only had lunch, and skipped both dinner and breakfast.... More

This Hotel was special. Nice stone paths to get to you're room. The rooms were all stone interior. clean and very spacious. Found it to be cold at night though... Dress warm in November, it is a cooler time of year. Food was good but not much to choose from. The tables were a bit dirty i noticed. Not sure... More

We quite enjoyed our stay at this hotel - it was clean and offered spectacular views all around. The "maisonnette" concept is quite interesting, although we found it a bit hard to find our way back to the restaurant as our room was located at the far end of the resort. Nonetheless, the room was confortable and clean. The buffet... More

I booked at Sangho Privilege Tataouine from 21 March 2014 via their personal agents, TRAVELSCAPE, for 4 nights. I received confirmation etc. Two days before my arrival i received an urgent message that my booking was cancelled. I called to ask why and they said it was because my bank did not accept the credit card and that they would... More

We visited this hotel in March 2014. The hotel is very nice and picturesque. It is bungalow type of hotel with each cabin made of stone and bricks in traditional Tunisian way. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was reasonable. The hotel was our first step towards Sahara desert and we appreciated it very much.

One of the best places in the country.... Tataouine does not really offer too many options but this is like an oasis... Everything can be seen as quite simple but finally there is a touch of good taste around which is worthwhile trying.

we stopped for lunch at this hotel on our way south. I did not see the room,I can they that there is a nice swimming-pool. My review concerns the restaurant: we had a buffet lunch which was really miserable: not a good array of food which was indeed very poor.

Pleasent surprise in the middle if tataouine. Very nice place food was great even better then tunis hotels. We had the further most room so it was quite a difficult walk up and despite some small problems at check in (electricity and phone unplugged initially) everything else was smooth. Again as long as u know what you are getting into... More

In a town like Tataouine you would not have high expectation on accommodations but this hotel gives kind of 'luxury' feeling. Welcome drink, nice pool, bungalow type of rooms, all are geared to a great high-end resort. The room is quite basic, and somewhat worn out but functional. The hotel offers half-board, saving you the time to eat out. Both... More
