A perfect place to profit of wild life with experienced guide like spike who explained us everything about the mind and behaviors of wild animals and did everything for us to see plenty of them!! Delicious food .. very caring team. Unique atmosphere
We stayed 3 nights with a group of friends in October. Although the early rains chased off some of the game, we saw more than we could have imagined. 4 types of cat (including mating lions and 3 x male lions in camp), dozens of elephant, hyena in camp, long list of antelope and unique birding. The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to be around. The camp is cool, comfortable and well laid out, overlooking a water pan where the game is plentiful day and night. Can’t wait to go back!
My parents and I had the best time at Camp Hwange. Our guides, Adam and Blade were so much fun as well as knowledgable and hospitable. We saw amazing wildlife and had great walking safaris too. We are vegetarian and were accommodated very well. Can't wait to return!
This was our first safari experience and it was amazing. Gareth was a phenomenal guide - so knowledgeable and nice to be around. John was a great team mate and they worked closely together with Jackson, our tracker. The assistant manager, Savannah, and the staff were all so lovely. Great service, great support, great food! It is a very special place!
Came back to the park after 40 years and as wonderful as ever. Hwange camp is very special. Savannah the main host looked after everything. Food, wine, accommodation all excellent. All the guides were helpful and so knowledgable. Flowers and birds as well as game. Two very long drives a day. Off road and searching by torchlight. They couldn’t have tried harder. Sundowners and a lunch in the bush. It may have been out of season (early Feb) but we saw lion and cheetah as well as elephants etc. Tracking a pride of lions on foot and seeing a lion kill 50 yds in front of us were highlights. The journey from the Falls was well organised and a game drive in itself. Life elsewhere in Zim is tough but this was a wonderful trip.
