Great hotel with a lovely location looking over the Thames and D'Oyly Carte Island serving great food and drink and a service second to none. Close to town centre amenities . Fantastic hotel, restaurant and pub. Please visit if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed

I was booked to stay here via booking.com I arrived after a very long drive. When I looked for it I walked past thinking it was closed premises. I rechecked by asking local shops and to my horror it was this place. I refused to go in even if I could (as the door was locked fast against the peeling...

Nice hotel in great location. Ideal for travelling to Twickenham - train station 15mins away. No free parking £3.00 per day. Staff lovely just such a shame breakfast took 35 mins to arrive after ordering - obviously unable to cope if a few people arrive at same time. Nice warm room with tea/coffee facilities, Bathroom freezing unable to put heating...

Thanks Claire for leaving us a review. We are having a 6 week refurbishment where everything is being spruced up whilst keeping the character of the building, and will be reopening on the 10th of April, so we hope to see you after then! Best wishes, Joe

As a hotel this place is shocking. The rooms are shabby old and smelly. There is much love and care required .As a restaurant and bar the place is great good food and the staff are great. There is a good selection of good quality produce which is fantastically presented. Good choice of wines and service is excellent. Shame about...

I only stayed as I could not get a room close to my destination. The rooms are old and you can hear everything from the neighbours room. Mine had a wee 23.10! Breakfast is okay, but not much to choise from.

Dear Clausr515, I am sorry to hear you could not get a room closer to your destination! Being a grade 2 listed building we are limited on what we can do with the walls so we are looking at improving the soundproofing through our refurbishment. Best wishes, Joseph Hanna

Like many others, I found this hotel after a missed connection at Heathrow. I'm glad I did, as it's a lovely place and FAR better than the chain hotels right by the airport. Even though I was tired and grouchy when I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome. I'd stay here again without thinking about a missed connection!

Quirky rooms in need of detail attention that is small items that are just not quite right and in need of some TLC.The food was fabulous tho', and great views from the dinning room over the river, breakfast was very good. Staff smoking outside where you are eating is very uncool. Then serving food without washing hands, is a great turn off! For a great little pub. Attention to these details, staff smelling of smoke.Little changes would make a great difference.
