This still remains one of my best hotel finds in the UK. Well situated, traditional hospitality, great food, comfortable and fully refurbished rooms. Every time I am in the UK over a weekend this is the one hotel I try to ensure I am booked in at

Far too expensive for the standard and service provided. The socalled 'Executive room' was a very small room without any windows. Bathroom hasnt been cleaned well and the breakfast was st a very low standard.

A pleasant enough small hotel conveniently placed for what we wanted. I was rather disappointed that we were charged an extra £20 for a cot for my grand daughter. When we challenged this were told 'it was policy'. If you want a decent drink head across the road to the Swan.

Based on the other options in the area, I did not have high expectations of the accommodations. The staff though not rude, as not been very friendly. There are also some obvious areas of improvement: The bed is lumpy and extremely firm and the pillows are so thin that I have to use 4 in order to prop myself to...

This is the second time I have had a very special day celebrated at the above hotel. My first one was a 50th Birthday for myself and it was a fantastic night. Most recently was a Diamond Anniversary for my parents. The manager is extremely helpful, polite and experienced and met all our needs from giving us advice as to...

I decided I didn't want to drive home after meeting my sister and brother-in-law, so had booked a room. Had a double on the ground floor which is excellent for my needs. If you need disabled accommodation this hotel appears to have it droves as there are numerous rooms on the ground floor. Loved the breakfast and there was plenty...

Nicely decorated rooms with all amenities and a lovely modern feel, clean too. Very comfy bed. Buffet breakfast was good and for the money we paid I can't find fault with this hotel. Large car park and free wifi.

We stayed at this hotel on Saturday and Sunday night. We had booked 2 rooms. The receptionist gave us 2 rooms next door but one on the ground floor. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and very modern. The decoration was lovely in both rooms. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very warm during the night. On the Sunday...

I have stayed here over 5 times and always have a good stay. A traditional outside contrasts with the modern and bright bedroom with a well equipped bathroom with White Company toiletries and comfortable bed. Complimentary Wifi , good sized flat screen television, tea & coffee making supplied in room ...a small fridge would be a welcome addition. Breakfast is...

My husband & l have just stayed here for 2 nights whilst completing some sections of our Walking Thames Path. Pleasantly surprised much more modern inside than out. Lots of parking spaces. Our room was small for an Executive (all classed as this), very modern, lovely bathroom with White Company toiletries, very comfortable bed. Wifi very fast, big television, tea...
