Rough roads. Long drive to campsites. Mostly seasonal campers. Felt uncomfortable leaving the camper. store is a joke. Didn't use tiny pool or bathrooms so can't say anything about them. Looks like they run this place on the side while serving in the VFD. Love volunteers. but appreciate attention to the campground too. Will not stay here again.

We wanted a campground close to Saratoga race track and downtown area. This was perfect . An easy 15 minute drive. Checking in was easy with friendly staff. The sites are large and spread out. We had a beautiful site looking into the woods. We were not interested in any activities or the pool so I cannot comment on that...

We spend one night at Whispering Pines. The property is older and dated by still has some charm. Th sites vary in size from tent sites to big rig. Cell service is poor do to its location Heavily wooded sites that are scattered along a dirt narrow roadway. Very quiet. Many sits have 50 amp and sewer but not all....

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We really do appreciate every customer's thoughts on our park. For the last 20 years, the owners have continually updated several aspects of the park, including a state-of-the-art restroom/shower/laundry facility in 2009 and a brand new snack bar in 2016. Numerous other improvements are done every year, but may not...

First let me put it out there I am not a camper so my review would apply more to those that also fall into that category. I came with friends to go the Dave Matthews show. Our campsite was nice and large, actually much larger than another group of friends we met there. I thought the arm band system a...

Thank you for your thoughts. We appreciate and encourage input from all of our customers, whether it be good or not so good. Each review is looked at as a learning tool for us as well as our future campers. We are one of the closest campgrounds to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and any time there is a big...

Dave Matthews weekend. Very crowded and at times loud, but this was expected. It is close to SPAC and this is what we were there for. We had 2 sites and they were able to accomodate being next to each other.. But I requested a full hookup site. Since the others in my party and we requested to be next...

I've been going to Whispering Pines Campgrounds for over 25 years now. The place has only gotten better( New showers and laundry room). It's my Peace away from the hustle and Bustle of the big City. With many new Campsites and RV sites, I think that you can always find something that suits you. If you expect Hilton Service then...

Stayed there July 2015 in our Class A motorhome and found the campground, main bathroom and showers to be very clean. The staff and owners were very helpful and accommodating. There are camping and other miscellaneous supplies in their store and Saratoga Springs was just a short drive from the campground. We will be staying there again. Submitted by Steve...

I just stayed at Whispering Pines on Saturday 7/18 Nice Campsite. Close to Saratoga. Very quiet! They have a pool, showers, bathrooms, Wifi, RV hook up's and even Fire Truck rides. Owners are local and great people! I would recommend this place for a nice getaway.

Sites not level. Big pine trees mean big roots and lots of tree sap and needles. I didn't trust water and pvc black water pipe was broken from winter freeze. I don't want war with owner but do need to tell you not to pay too much in advance without seeing for yourself.

Did not have a good experience at this campground, poor management and unfriendly staff, unwilling to accommodate guests. When asking to change to a new site, they claim they're booked but the next 2 days no one had checked in to any of the sites previously requested. Bathrooms are updated but the rest is run down. I would suggest looking...

We are so sorry your experience with us was not to your satisfaction. We strive to make every camper that comes into our park happy and willing to come back to visit us. We do admit that some aspects of our park needed to be upgraded last fall, which is why we have launched a large renovations plan this spring....
