Do your research..... I did not and booked the Twilight Lodge as it seemed reasonably priced and in the location we wished to visit. However, on arrival there was a note about a key around the back (there wasn't) and two telephone numbers. We could get no signal on our mobile, so that was that! We were not impressed by...

I try to give most places the benifit of the doubt. I have found that people are just trying to make a living and do the best with what they have. Normally when i read reviews i take the best and the worst and figure the truth lays somewhere in the middle. This has worked for me and i have...

well, it was interesting... more of a bed&breakfast than a hotel. owner was very nice, very chatty, older Hungarian guy. he had some good recommendations for the area and as the place was empty, said i could have choice of rooms. beds were creaky, mattress very firm, tv and wifi were not working. bathrooms shared, there is a communal kitchen....

Yes the place is a little old but the staff is super friendly, breakfast is fantastic and most importantly the place is clean. At this price you cannot find anything better than this. I will definitely go back.

Do not go to this B&B. They lied about the distance from Woodstock on their website saying that it is 8 miles. In reality it is 21 miles from Woodstock. The pictures on the website are touched up to make it look like a nice place. It is a dive!! moldy, dirty carpets, dark dingy halls. And a shack in...

“If you are traveling as a couple, don't get a room that shares a kitchenette, a little too close for comfort. If you are traveling as a family, then book the two rooms with the kitchenette-There is a door that shuts the area off from the rest of the inn. Bring your own dishes, there is an oven, microwave, full size refrig/freezer, and table and chairs. Hunter Mountain Ski Area is 15 min down the road. There is a little road noise during the AM and afternoon.”

“Overall, I’d say spend the extra $40 and go to a better B&B in this area. This place is pretty run-down, it's hard to find a staffer, and it's completely overpriced.”
