We heard lions roar and hyenas laugh as we slept. During the day we tracked a lion, got close to buffaloes and so much more ...... a crazy experience. Aside from the incredible nature that surrounded us, Chikoko is glamping at its best. The room was rustic and fantastic, the meals were incredible. One would not believe that everything had...

This is an extremely rustic camp....not for the faint of heart but what a cool experience. There is no noise except for wildlife. The stars at night are amazing. Getting here was a bit of a challenge with a hike and canoe trip, and I wasn't feeling well due to dehydration. Unfortunately this didn't get much better during my stay...

I spent four nights between the two walking camps ccompanied by Isaac Zulu who is known as one of the most experienced guides in South Luangwa National Park. I also spent two days at each of the two camps, Chikoko Tree Camp and Crocodile River Camp. This was a superb wilderness experience which I most thoroughly enjoyed. The food was...

This was one of the highlights of my trip to the S Luangwa. The walking safari was top notch. our guide Brent was excellent. The rooms, although quite simple are very comfortable and the food was delicious! Can't wait to go back.

No electronic communications. No vehicles. No radio, no TV no papers. Wonderful. Delightful comfortable accommodation that's like being outdoors but with all the comforts. Remarkable.
