Thyme is an absolutely fantastic b&b. Mary and Bill are great hosts and Sarah is a wizard in the kitchen, coming up with original, interesting and delicious breakfasts. Did I mention the delicious breakfasts? Our room, the eco cabin was emaculate and very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and as a working farm with land to roam the stay was...

My husband and I spent 3 delightful nights in the Sumac Room at Thyme in the Country. We were so happy to have found this place, it was just what we were looking for, peaceful and bucolic, owned and operated by the warm and welcoming Koch family. Sarah, their cook, is not only a whiz in the kitchen but a...

I just saw your very comprehensive review and Thank you so much for all the attention to detail and for all the time you took to write it. It is very much appreciated. We are always so busy running both the farm and B&B that we often overlook encouraging guest to write about their stay and it does make such...

Lucky for us, the Sumac room was available for the first weekend of Fall 2015 due to a cancellation. With just a day's notice, Mary worked with our schedule to make a last-minute reservation possible (this included waiting up until we arrived very late on the Friday night of our stay). The quiet and restful room included a very comfortable...

Two weeks ago we held a family reunion and needed additional space for two families to stay. Both families raved about their experiences at Thyme. One cousin is gluten free and egg free, quite a challenge when preparing breakfast. Mary came through with flying colors! It was deemed "Glorious"! What could be better than a B&B that provides the freshest...

This was our second stay of many, many more to come. Thyme in the Country is amazing. We absolutely love this place and the people who created it. Mary and Bill are wonderful, down to earth, smart, interesting and interested, generous and environmentally conscious. We could go on and on! Teddy roasts the most amazing coffee. Heather makes you feel...

My friend and I wanted a place near Rhinebeck so we could attend the Country Living Fair. I had met Mary at a baby shower for a mutual friend and she was so lovely so we decided to book at her B&B. Mary suggested the "eco-cottage" because there was a wedding party staying in the main house. I was a...

Loved to stay with Mary and Heather. They are very friendly, the house is beautiful with a cozy environment. Breakfast is done straight from the farm. It's close and accessible from the main outdoor activities. We're definitely going back!

We have never been to a B&B where the hosts and staff were so genuinely warm, so hardworking, so intent on ensuring that each guest enjoy a superb time. And they succeed! We brought our 2 grandsons, 10 and 7, for 3 days at Thyme in the Country, a perfect launching spot to enjoy the Dutch settlements (think Martin Van...

We were practically in tears reading that review. We read it twice out loud to have it really sink in. I don't know where to begin. We still smile every time we think about the moments of your visit. The baked fish, Grandpa cleaning the fish, making the fruit skewers together, the outdoor recital. So much happened that weekend and...

We went there for a weekend as we had to attend a wedding in nearby Germantown. It was wonderful! We went here for a weekend away from Brooklyn and it was amazing. We prefer farm experiences that care about their environment, and this B&B and Mary were perfect!
