This hotel was the worst hotel my children and I have stayed in. The pool was green you couldn't even see the bottom. The hallways smelt gross. The people kept on yelling in the hallways while my children and I tried to sleep at3 o'clock in the morning.

While staying at the Trip Hotel in late August and early September, I came back to my room's deadbolt left out, propping the door open. Given that room service had been consistently arriving around 9 am every other day, I am lead to believe that my hotel room door was left open for upwards of 5 hours. Anyone who walked...

We pulled up and thought the place was closed. No lights or cars in the lot. We entered the tired yet pleasant lobby and were efficiently cared for by the attendant. The room is tired but clean-no sign of infestations. We only needed a place to sleep although we chose it because of the pool photos. The outer doors are...

Our hotel was absolutely disgusting. The outside looks like a barley lit movie theatre that's been abandoned. We walked down long dark halls to find our room which was filthy. Inside the bathroom was a half empty water bottle on the counter, condensation marks on the night stands from the previous renters drinks & a half eaten Haagen-Daz ice cream...

We recently found ourselves booking last minute with no other options available and *really* wanted a spot close to Cornell and the Trip Hotel definitely fit that bill. We saw the generally poor ratings, but a few recent reviews gave us hope that it would be OK as a basic option - and we weren't planning to be at the...

I went in with an open mind - I really did. We needed to be close to Cornell and we were definately that. But that's where the only positive thing is that i can say. I am a travel agent - I have traveled A LOT and have stayed in almost every type of accommodation. This was by far, the...

Reading reviews from the previous stays its hard to guess what to expect, the roof to the pool is in disrepair and the pool was cloudy, it was clearly very nice in its heyday but something needs to change. The parking lot was mixed in repairs and the outside didn't look awful but the carport seemed iffy. I didn't feel...

My ex and I were in Ithaca to bring our daughter to college. we decided to arrive a day early to explore the sights. I had initially reserved a room at the Country Inn and Suites in Cortland but my ex thought that was too far and decided to cancel the reservation because he said he "found a nicer hotel"....

The reviews I've read on here make this place seem like a hazard. And honestly, it's really not that bad. While yes, the parking lot needs some work. The security should be upgraded (I walked in the back door without having to insert a card at 9pm). The exterior needs a facelift. However, my room on the third floor was...

The photos on the website are so misleading - they must have been taken years and years ago when it was fully operational. I honestly thought it was abandoned - paint was peeling, wall paper literally hanging off the walls, and windows were so corroded you could not see through them. I am traveling with my daughter looking at colleges...
