When there is a wedding scheduled at The Inn at Erlowest, we work with the wedding party to insure that any wedding related activities have the smallest possible impact on the rest of the guests of the Inn. Our staff is trained to manage the different uses of the property to be sure that everyone's needs are respected.
Specifically as a guest of the Inn, you might see the bridal party in the Montcalm sitting area for hair and make up preparation. The majority of our guests find that activity to be a fun event as they use the staircase to the lobby. The wedding cocktail hour would be hosted in front of the ballroom and in our courtyard. Lasting 60 minutes, most Inn guests enjoy seeing the newly weds and their guests enjoy themselves. Once the cocktail hour is complete the wedding moves inside the closed doors of the ballroom with little to no impact to Inn guests.
Seasonally, we serve dinner on the fireplace patio during cocktail hour and the wedding reception without a clash between uses of the property.
If you have any additional questions, please contact us at 518-668-5928 and we would be happy to answer any other questions that you might have.
We look forward to seeing you in the near future!
