Absolutely perfect place for an authentic old timey family get-together. We celebrated our daughter's wedding on the beach, with a pig bbq dinner in a big rented tent, and dancing in the cute little gazabo. All our guests stayed in the 30 or so little cabins surrounding the main lodge and loved it. This is not a fancy HIlton; but,...

We had never been to the Lake George area but came on a last-minute whim for the Columbus Day weekend, as pretty much everything else around Vermont / New Hampshire was booked. If you haven't been to Lake George before, it is chock-full of aging "resorts" scattered all around the lake, which may have been nice in the 80s. There...

This is one of the best kept secrets in the Lake George area. Although it is a resort with cabins, pool and lakeside activities, the breakfast s are open to the public. The food is consistently good and very reasonably priced. Our server left a full pot of coffee to indulge in after taking our order. My french toast and...

My husband and I took our kids to Alpine Village for a weekend get away. The outside was very clean with rustic look cabins. The rooms are clean with a lot of space. The only problem was the wifi in the room, but outside had good wifi. The breakfast was good, but I didnt like the pancakes. They have a...

Stayed in a cabin here with some friends who've been coming here for many years. I was told not to expect the "luxury suite" so as to not be disappointed but that it was wonderful for the price. Turns out, it really was a very nice clean place. Definitely the "rustic cabin" feel with plenty of room for a family...

37 years ago we spent our HoneyMoon here. We have been back many times with our kids and now for long weekends by ourselves. Very picturesque property. Nestled into a hillside are some dozen or so cabins built circa 1930s or so. They are real log cabins with stone fireplaces and adirondack porches with chairs all facing the lake. The...

It reminds me of the movie Dirty Dancing. Log cabins. Lake view. Just a peaceful getaway when you want to get back in touch with nature. The staff is welcoming and very accommodating. This is a place for the laid back. What better way to spend a hot summer evening than sitting on the porch drinking a cold beer and...

This place is by far my favorite type of lodging. Nicely furnished and nice people. Breakfast from 830-11, we stayed in room 1. It had three beds: 2 fulls and 1 queen. Nice little kitchenette. Needs some entertainment when weather is bad : i.e. Board games or cards. But the grocery store and rite aid has cards and games.
