Nice resort with great surroundings and nice food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We found the price a bit to high and the food was nothing special. Note that the resort is not in the city center, so you need to consider transportation. Still recommended for a night or two.

The staff are really polite, and make one feel really welcome. The Ethiopian food we had for dinner was exceptionally tasty, we were provided really good advice on what to order. The gardens are really nice, many birds. The bathroom showers could do with some improvement.

food: good basic food; Internet: very weak signal; fortunately good generator because many breakdown in power; too sophisticated shower: you may need an engineer or a help of the service to get water; good bed and nice park; very kind service

What a great place to stay at. Nature enfolds the pathways, the staff is very helpful and the service is great. We enjoyed the food very much and also the rift valley white and red wines. One thing that Ethiopian hotels may offer are fans for the mosquitos.

We stayed at Abay Minch Lodge for two nights recently, and it was by far the most quaint and charming place we stayed in during our entire trip in Ethiopia. The rooms are comfortable, and there is hot water, which is always a good thing. The shower space has no curtains, which we found in most places we visited, and...

Spectacular accommodations in a remote area just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Bahir Dar. I normally travel with my family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and these cottages would have been great if they had been with me. They're spacious and clean and you get the wonderful sound effects of the wildlife living in the canopy...

Very pleasant place to stay. Good room, lovely big garden with lots of nooks in which to sit and enjoy a drink before supper. Well situated just off the edge of town. Bulk standard buffet breakfast but good dinner
