Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is a great place - both the hotel as well as the restaurant. The rooms are simple but spacious and very clean. Good hot shower, comfortable bed and clean sheets. The food is awesome and the servings are large. Breakfast is very good and wholesome. The owner is a very kind person with great sense of humour. They will recommend a short walking trip along the river next to the hotel within the palmary which you should do. Price is very reasonable and we were very pleased with our stay.

I stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. This might have been my favorite hotel that we stayed at in Morocco and we stayed in 9 different places. My room had a third floor view of the pool area. Speaking of the pool area, it is such a nice place to hang out and eat a meal (we did both!). My bed was very comfy and I slept well here. The bathroom and shower were fine as well. The Wifi was top-notch and offered throughout the entire hotel, even at the pool! The scenery surrounding the hotel is breathtaking. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I ever visit the Todra Gorge region.

Nice location of this hotel right next to the river and walking distance to a hike to a former casbah and oasis. The hotel has a nice pool and restaurant. The room was comfy and clean. Helpful staff also.

WOW! This was my favourite hotel by far from all the hotels we visited in Morocco. The staff were absolutely incredible, the rooms were spotless and it was the best meal I had eaten in Morocco (I had the chicken kebabs and fries). I can not say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating. Our comfort was of upmost importance and they ensured we were well taken care of. This place is amazing. I would stay here again and again.

Convenient location for travelers visiting Todra Gorge. It’s only half an hour-45 minutes walk from the hotel. Clean rooms, decent restaurant, friendly staff, can’t expect more from such a small town hotel.

Two quick negatives to get out of the way - no hairdryer in the room (ask at front desk) and disposable plastic straws used for orange juice during breakfast (totally unnecessary and against current thinking). Now, onto the good and great: The location was easy to find with plenty of parking. It is only a few minutes drive from where you want to start hiking the Todra Gorge (much better than staying in Tinghir city). The front desk helped us with instructions on where to park and what to look for. The room was great with heat that worked fabulously (in December). We liked having windows to the outside to let fresh air in during the morning. I remember the bed was good and the shower had hot water. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices, including good coffee, eggs, crepes, amlou (local peanut butter), yogurt, fresh orange juice, plenty of breads/honey/jams. This is the kind of breakfast you will want to take a photo of! The breakfast/eating area is decorated amazingly with large windows looking at the pool and gorge. All was lovely. Lots of staff helping out. I think this place is picked by a lot of the small group companies that bring people to the desert. It can be trusted to provide a very solid experience. The value is amazing. They even let us come back and use the toilets after our hike before we drove way towards Merzouga. After the breakfast treatment, I wish we ate dinner at this hotel. The place we picked up the road was a total bust.

The staff was amazing in this adorable hotel right near the famous gorge— apart from the delicious and copious veal fast included in the price, they made us a picknick to take on our hike. We had dinner in te hotel both nights and the food was authentic and tasty, with supplementary tea and cookies afterwards. Definitely recommend staying here when in Tinerhir!

This hotel was clean with great air conditioning and and a hot shower with good pressure which was hard to find in Morocco. I ca t complain about anything in the hotel. WiFi was also good. However Todra Gorge itself is a bit of a nothing location unless you're into rock climbing. Only stay in this town if you need to break up travelling as the destination itself isn't really worth it
