Named for being one of the best hotels in Kara but I want to assume that they are living in past glory. I don't understand the additional 1000CFA for tourism tax that is being added to the already over priced rooms.

The garden bungalow rooms are large and newly decorated. The ppol is clean and refershing after a long drive. The res taurant is not the best and the service slow. If you go outside the hotel and turn left, you'll find a collection of local pubs to have drink in the evening.

Food was however very good and...

You cannot leave anything in your room of value as it will be stolen by the cleaning staff even small coins u leave on the ancient furniture. Last time there...

If you are looking for a safe place to stay in central Togo this is it. A beautiful pool, and a good restaurant round out this property. As you head north into northern Togo this is the last Western hotel you will likely find.
