We have stayed at 2 Friends several times since 2016 with both the previous and current management. We have explored other hotels and guest houses in Jinja but always return to 2 Friends for good reason, their consistent quality accommodations. The grounds, dining area, and pool are beatifully maintained and there have been upgrades to the rooms (A/C, TV, mattresses, etc.) over the years. Management pays attention to detail and 2 Friends is a very pleasant place to stay and relax. From the time we arrived, Leticia at reception made sure that we were happy with our room and cared for our needs. The housekeeping (Margaret & Prossy) and waitress (Josephine & Zubega) staff are so friendly, helpful, and diligent, as is the chef, Mary, who happily prepares a beautiful breakfast each morning with an extensive selection and even provides some items via order. For lunch or for dinner, food can be ordered from All Friends, the restaurant next door (under different management), and delivered to your room or the dining area at 2 Friends which is a nice feature that we took advantage of several time. We have eaten at All Friends many times since the early 2000's when we lived in Jinja and while we feel that the overall appearance of the restaurant has declined, the pizzas are still very good. If you are visiting Jinja, 2 Friends is well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. The maintenance of the hotel, incredible staff, and amenities at their price point are unmatched.…

Wonderful pool and the best hot water showers of 7 weeks in East Africa. Suggest to order one meal between 2 people in the restaurant as servings are huge (and delicious) . Easy 15 minute walk to Main St, to Nile River and to wonderful morning service at St James’ church

This guest house consists of a lot of rooms, and it gets very busy. The reception area got very crowded, had to wait 45 minutes to be booked in, and after a long day travelling, this was not the greatest experience. We requested to have an early breakfast, but the food was not ready by the time we arrived. We just had coffee and fruit then. The rooms were clean though with very comfortable beds.

The guest is generally fine. We nejoyed the pool, the breakfast and the staff were very helpfull and friendly. We had a big family room and enjoyed the space but the design is not really nice comapred to the rest of the guest house, the room was full of mosquitos, curtains are not lloking nice and making the room look "cheap". I beleive some design effort could have been done. So globally, it's fine but could be improved

This is the second time I am staying at 2friends in 6months and it doesn’t disappoint- the rooms my family occupied (16 and 17) were ideal and well equipped essentials- fluffy towels, insect repellant, beverage corner, decent tv channel options, lovely bathroom and the lemony pool; breakfast and any meal is a highlight- they are the definition of generous and tasty meals with staff who will address any of your whims- I would visit again and recommend it Caution- make sure you take advantage of the online booking discount

This is a lovely place and I wish I had more time here. Very comfortable and clean. Had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good. Internet is great in the rooms and sitting area off of the restaurant. Nice weekend escape from Kampala but Jinga itself doesn’t seem to have much I can recommend. One fellow tourist from Kampala asked why people come to Jinga besides to see the headwaters of the Nile. Ummm, to not be in Kampala?

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Nice location not so far from Jinja central. Good room and easy access to pool. Excellent pizza from adjoining restaurant. I would happily go back here. Plenty of birds to watch; black kites swooping in.

The coziest, friendliest, and most service oriented hotel ever had the pleasure of staying at. Hands down my highest ratings aren’t high enough! From the moment you arrive the atmosphere is inviting and until the moment you leave you will enjoy every moment. I have traveled for over twenty years and have been many places, many hotels from 3stars up, and nothing beats quality service, food, and people. This hotel has a very cozy down to earth feel that embraces your surroundings and is perfect for a weekend or long stay. Enjoy!!

We just had the best holiday at Two friends Jinja. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the service is great, the rooms are very clean and well maintained and the pool and bar are exclusive to residents which makes it very safe especially for families travelling with children. It was money well spent!
