nice place to spend a day or two-not a 4 star hotel-but for the price, it was fine-a place to sleep and shower, and have coffee with friends. The rooms are clean, no tv or phone, but hey when the weather is great, go outside and explore the grounds

We stayed at the Maplewood for one night. I read all the reviews and yes, it is old but it's very clean. The rooms are small but we didn't spend any time in the rooms. Just be prepared for the bathrooms. When making a reservation, I suggest you ask for details on the in-room bathrooms. We had a room with...

The little town is a quaint and cute spiritual community, although even with paying up for a poor hotel experience with a non functioning shower in a cramped bathroom at $110 for the night with what can be best described as the worst bed I have slept in next to a sleeping bag on the ground, you still have to...

I absolutely love the Maplewood Hotel! Great place, great history...it's of course located in the amazing town of Lily Dale. Time spent here only adds to the experience of your time in Lily Dale. The porch is a great place to meet people and talk, and the parlor has some incredible examples of precipitated spirit art. Enjoy!

This was my 3rd stay at the Maplewood Hotel, so I knew what I was in for. Was not expecting luxury or any extra amenities because it's a historic hotel. Upon approaching the front desk to check in, there were 3 women behind the counter who did not look up or acknowledge my presence for several minutes. There were no...

This hotel is part of the historical community of the spiritual community of Lily Dale. Stayed on the first floor so we could get air conditioning and it was quiet. When I booked a "double" room I assumed it would be a double bed however it was 2 twin beds so we moved the beds together. The rooms are small...

I have stayed at the Maplewood Hotel three times, and it truly is a step back in history. This is not a five-star hotel, and it is not a Holiday Inn. If you are expecting these things, you will be sorely disappointed. What it is, however, is a lovely hotel, more than 100 years old, with fixtures and an ambiance...

room #3 with shower and toilet was small but very functional, quiet and convenient to all activities. Watching rain from rocking chairs on porch was very nice. The rooms are not designed for entertaining, just sleeping and dressing. The rest of the hotel has great sitting and visiting spaces with over stuffed Victorian furniture. The place smelled nice and old...

We stayed above Sunflower Cafe, but were still part of the Maplewood Hotel. It is a very quaint, old, bare bones basic room. Our room had two twin beds and we were able to squeeze in a rollaway bed. Thank goodness for our air conditioner! We enjoyed spending free time on the screened in porch too. We missed having a...
