Just returned from our fortnight in Boa Vista staying at the Royal Decameron Hotel where the location on the beach was fantastic, and only10 mins drive from the newly built Airport Terminal. Room and hotel facilities were generally good although our junior suite accommodating 3 adults was in need of refurbishment. The location on the beautiful sandy beach could not...

If you like a quiet holiday in a clean place with good food ,nice drinks and friendly staff then this place is great. There are activities to take part in if you want but you don't have too! Some times the music was a little noisy and the animation staff were too but suppose its there job. The staff around...

We stayed there for 2 nights in February. First of all, the hotel is now called 'New Horizons'. We were pleasantly surprised by the great variety of food available almost all day ( between the main meals, there is a beach bar with snacks). The drinks are also included in the price and they make excellent Mojitos. The location is...

If you're looking for a posh swanky hotel where you have to dress for dinner and you want to feel a bit upmarket, this is not the place, try the RIU hotels on the island. To be honest we picked people up from them on trips and you could have been anywhere in the world. I would not relax there....

The hotel is fairly small with 300 or so rooms and we never felt overcrowded within hotel, around the pools or in the restaurant. The food was both plentiful and of good standard served with a smile. We are not heavy drinker but always a drink was available and with a wide choice but the cocktails were a bit unimaginative. The...

I had considered Cape Verde approximately 3 years ago but was put off by many indifferent reviews, however, the travel agent persuaded me to look at it again and we booked an 11 night deal from Manchester. The hotel Touareg is in the middle of nowhere but as we were there for total relaxation it wasn't a problem. The staff...

We spent in this hotel one week with all inclusive programme. Royal Decameron offers basic accommodation with spacious rooms. Bathroom is not as nice but you still have to think about the fact that you´re in Africa. Everything is well kept and clean. The hygiene standards in main restaurant are very high and food was tasty and not repetitive. Everyday...

This is a very nice place to go if you want a totally lazy, relaxing get away from it all holiday. There are miles and miles of beach and you can walk without hardly seeing anyone. The hotel has good amenities, several restaurants and many bars. Wifi only in the reception area and very very expensive at 7 Euros for...
