Food was a bit less great but it was still good. We stayed 1 night and 1 evening. Tsavo West national Park around the corner....

We traveled to the Tsavo National Park Kenya via Kilimanjaro. It was an amazing experence. We were met at the airport by a wonderful lady called Charity. We were then met at the border by Peter our safari guide in a comfortable land cruiser. Peter was our guide and friend for the entire trip. He was very knowledgible and friendly...

Maneaters Lodge is a gem set along the Tsavo River, in the Tsavo East National Park. With every room with a river view, you will be assured to sleep to the soothing sounds of water poetry. Having the lodge alongside a water source ensures plenty of game, if fact we were lucky to see, giraffe, buffalo, and elephants at midday....

If you're expecting 5 star modern luxury, then this place isn't for you, but if you like a natural setting, friendly staff and the odd zebra on your porch, then you'll love it. It's a fairly basic tent, but has an inside flushing toilet & shower, but electricity is only on at certain times. Each tent has a private porch...

We stopped at this lodge on the way down to the coast. There were only 4 other guests, with none expected the day weft. We were put in a tent next to the other guests, despite the fact there were so many empty tents. Our tent had rubbish outside it in the bush. Some of the staff (Rosemary, Donald and...

Our visit to Man Eaters was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. The setting is unique, along the river. A very relaxing, peaceful getaway. Would definitely go back! It is exciting to learn of the history of the name, "Man Eaters" , as well!

Just two km off the main Nairobi Mombasa highway, almost exactly half way, and with traffic as it is these day on this road, it was a welcome relief! Also value for money! This Tented camp although outside the park, is only a ten minute drive to either Tsavo West or East Gates. I stayed with the family my wife,...
