A really super hotel on the banks of the Casamance River. The rooms were clean and equipped thankfully with air conditioning. They were also well laid out with a TV, bar fridge and a desk to work on. The shower though did tend to flood the bathroom due to its design. There are great birds around the hotel and many... More

How could I possibly give 2 stars to the highest rated hotel in Zig? Disclaimer: I've been living in Senegal for 13 years, and have visited quite a few hotels/lodges/airbnbs. Basically, Kadiandoumagne offers scenery - the river, boats, fishermen, and some well-kept flowers and plants and a sweet little pool (that's better to look at than swim in). The interior... More

Really good hotel on the river front. It's really huge with a great pool and garden. the Restaurant is superb with spot on service. Rooms quite small but clean and all the bits where they should be, not broken. lots of business people and a government minister when i stayed. wifi which seems to work all over

I just wanted to review the restaurant. I have been visiting Ziguinchor for over 8 years and used to look forward to eating at Restaurant Kadiandoumagne. This time in Dec 2015, I went there twice and both times were very disappointing. I had the Spaghetti Napolitan - it was dreadful, almost inedible. The sauce was like bad, wtaery, tomato soup.... One of the best if not the best hotel in ziguinchor. It's not luxurious at all, the bathroom is quite basic, you sleep under mosquito bednet etc. But it's very clean, the rooms are quiet and the staff is extremely nice. The restaurant is good with good fresh seafood and the landscape is just amazing with a view on the... More

You gotta love the thick wood doors, nice old design. The rooms without phones, the bugs everywhere, the temperamental wi-fi service connection. You gotta love the restaurant in a deck by the river with open floor windows at night in Malaria zone. You gotta love the 10 jumbo shrimps with fries for 5 bucks at the most expensive restaurant in... More

We spent 9 days here and visited family during the day.Breakfast was okay but a larger variety would be nice. The staff was really great and really loved the gentlemen who welcomed us home each night at the front door. The stay was very enjoyable and when we return the motel will be at the top of our list.

Hotel with nice view of the river each morning at breakfast. We spent 10 days here while visiting family. Even with language barriers the staff was very helpful. Loved coming back each evening to the staff waiting at the front for us. Breakfast each morning did not offer much variety but again the staff was so kind.

It's hard to do bad food in Senegal, but this place succeeds. The hotel itself is wonderful, grounds, pool and rooms beautiful. Service can be somewhat cold but the food, including breakfast, is atrocious. I couldn't even eat the fruit at breakfast. There were swarms of flies trapped in the fruit container. I just opted for some corn flakes. Dinner... More
